People can be just as nasty on Free Republic Well maybe 75% as uglyI dunno. I despised Ted Kennedy as a complete Soviet-aligned Traitor to America. I was JOYFUL when I heard the whale-like alcoholic treasonous freak died.
But I kept it off Free Republic's obituary thread.

Wow, so sorry that your GRACE chip is missing............I always wonder how people who make smartass comments right after someone’s death feels. Do they regret it? Feel the need to apologize? Or just roll on proudly?????

Rest in peace to an Elegant First Lady and lovely wife and friend to President Reagan. Agreed. And the two were nothing short of a love story. They made a great team - in everything.

What a lovely picture. They genuinely were soul mates. RIP

Its a shame what the “peace loving, coexist” libs will say on blogs, The View etc. Makes me sick to think about.

I was never that big a fan of Nancy Reagan, but she knew when it was time to retire from public view, as did her husband. I only wish others ( hear that Bob Dole, Jimmy Carter) would learn from them.

Not like I disagreed lol.
I do respect Nancy though, she lifted up Ron when he needed it most. That's where the tire meets the road in any marriage.

Compare her to the current FLOTUS. My gosh how far we’ve fallen.
Rest in Peace, Mrs. Reagan

BTW, *RACIST*, I can't tell if that was on an obituary thread. It looks pulled. I hold no punches elsewhere, but on obituary threads I usually stay respectful. I'd be surprised to find that sort of comment on an obituary thread, I would be violating my usual standard.
I'd be surprised NOT to find that thread about Kennedy, elsewhere. :)
Racist.

I dunno why. They should’ve been joyful that she supported a “woman’s right to choose” and embryonic stem cell research. She was far more progressive than her husband was.
