Rush seemed to be more inclined to support Cruz.
Rush supports whatever brings in $ for himself. It’s his job.
Rush seemed to be more inclined to support Cruz.Rush is a rock-ribbed conservative.
Senator Cruz is running on traditional conservative values.
Seems pretty simple.
As am I, but I think Rush is right on this.
If the nominee is Trump, I’m going to support him, and I think he could wind up being a pretty good President. Not great like Reagan because there will be times he will betray us, but pretty good overall.
If you are wondering who Limbaugh supports at this
time you are wasting your time.
Sure, Cruz is the candidate of Rush’s heart. However Rush also is intellectually honest enough to admit to himself that Trump has caused a major earthquake in the political process.
Problem for Rush, and a lot of old Conservatives, is they simply do not like, or trust, Trump. To me it is odd since how Trump is being treated pretty much echos how Rush was treated from 1988 to 1994 by the Politcal Machine.
Without Trump Cruz would of been simply ignored or slimed with 10s of millions in attack ads into irrelevance.
To use a sports metaphor, Trump is the lead blocker who blew a hole in the opposition line so Cruz, the ball carrier, could run thru the hole.
In my heart, based on nothing but 40 years of pent up battered Conservative emotion, I wish the ball carrier could run for the touchdown now.
But my head tells me there is a lot more blocking for Trump to do yet.
Yes, I think he does and so do I, but the statement about Trump is still spot-on.
“Rush seemed to be more inclined to support Cruz.”
Or Rubio, who he has called conservative numerous times. Since Rube can’t get any traction, he ‘supports’ Cruz.
As Cruz is only Conservative running how could he support anyone else but Cruz. Limbaugh likes the fact Trump can stick it to the media but he is NO conservative and would be a horrible president.
Limbaugh just says what he sees and does not endorse anyone until the real fight starts after the nomination. If we are addicted to the race now, I can’t imagine what will happen then. Praying for Gowdy.
Rush is smart not to alienate his listeners by revealing his nominee. There are many here who stopped listening because he was reporting what he was seeing.
The thing about bringing the party together for the fight against the communists is really the most important part of the interview.
“Rush seemed to be more inclined to support Cruz.”
On his radio show, Rush said that Ted Cruz would be the strongest one to fight the GOP establishment. Of course, Cruz has already proven that.
