Rick Scott is not very popular in Florida, but I suppose having our Governor as VP would be sufficient to help win that all-important state.
Similar logic applies with respect to Ohio and Kasich.
Even though I firmly believe Ted Cruz is a NBC, of course the Democrats still won't hesitate to use such innuendo to damage him.
I think it'll take a Supreme Court ruling to make all the doubters STFU...

If Ted really wants to be president instead of on the SC,
then eight years is price of apprenticeship...

How could Trump pick a VP he says is not eligible for President? Trump says a lot of things that aren't true
You started this thread with the pretext of burying the hatchet and supporting the eventual nominee. Yet you cant restrain yourself from continuing your snarky remarks.

Wow, I think you should look in the mirror.

The logical move would be a Trump/Cruz ticket if they can get past the hard feelings.

Pointing out someone’s record isn’t an “attack.” And Cruz has been doing that to Trump consistently since before Iowa.
Being a “frontrunner” doesn’t mean everyone else has to raise the white flag and surrender. I don’t remember ANYONE on this forum saying we had to roll over for Romney 4 years ago just because he was the frontrunner. He was viciously critiqued by conservatives across the board.

After Super Tuesday, I believe Trump had it. The south didn’t come through for Cruz. The writing is on the wall.

It has ALWAYS been thought the two need one another. Whatever way the wind blows - let ‘em duke it out and the winner wins, the loser takes the other. It was thought TRUMP/CRUZ but will be as happy if it were CRUZ/TRUMP. With the two winners on one ticket there should be enough punch in the team to annihilate the pair of rats, no matter who that might be. Egos set aside, will they work together for the GOOD OF GOD’S COUNTRY?
JUST DO IT!

Romney. yuk.
I am a Cruz/Trump guy who consistently gets attacked by Trump supporters.
But the David Duke thing is phoney.
And Romney/Ryan are to be condemned for their attacks on Trump.
Ryan should be primaried. And we should vote for the donk in his district, unless congress were threatened.

Battleground states are more or less, Ohio, Virginia, Florida and a few others.
California is no battleground state but who knows, maybe the GOP can grab a lot of votes.

They can’t steal the nomination if the candidate gets the majority of delegates.
If the candidate doesn’t get the majority, the rules are the delegates have their own vote to pick a candidate. That’s how it works. Those are the rules. That’s why we have delegates, not just vote counts. This won’t be the first time.
