"In no way, whatsoever, will Cruzers stand by and let the GOPe steal this nomination away from Trump in a Brokered Convention!"

How many candidates that have handled themselves as Donald Trump has in his campaign have won the presidency or even been a front runner?

None. I don't know of any other candidate who has behaved as immaturely as Trump has.

Since the beginning of Televised Debates no man has ever received as many attacks in one primary season as Trump.

He is still standing and winning

GO TRUMP

Hillary Clinton is THE original birther.

I don't think she's considering Cruz as a running mate.

The Cruz NBC issue was raised by a Democrat in Florida, Alan Grayson.

And Trump has jumped into it with both feet. Plus his Birther credentials go way back before this campaign commercial.

By the way, Hillary started the birther thing with Obama.

Was Trump wrong bringing it up with Obama?

So the Free Republic posters who were concerned about Obama’s birthpalce, in the end, are really just been bigots, which was the claim of more Democrats?

If not, what’s different now that its Ted?

Its totally hypocritical and cannot be squared up.

If Trump picks Cruz as a running mate, I would love to know his reasoning.

Basically, screw the Constitution?

Presidency is the only office that requires NBC for good reason.

If we hold Cruz up as our nominee, this door will never close.

His Canadian birth is my big stumbling block.

I sent Ted Cruz’ campaign money long before Trump.

Just can’t do it.

His Canadian birth is my big stumbling block.

It's been an issue for Trump as well. How does he walk it back now?

Don’t want to cause trouble, I just want info. What makes Cruz a good candidate for the Supreme Court?

He won’t take Cruz. Period.

If he does, he loses all credibility and my vote.

Plus, Cruz adds nothing to the ticket. Does not expand the map at all, shrinks it actually.

I highly doubt that either Cruz or Trump has any interest in being on a presidential ticket with the other.

Then as soon as Trump takes the oath of office, he turns to Bern, says "You're fired.", and then they swear in Ryan as VP. Trump says to Ryan, "Hey gym rat, sit down next to your new boss and shut up." pointing to an open chair next to Newt, who is wearing a big "WH Chief of Staff" button, and an even bigger smile. Newt is on the phone saying, "Tell Speaker-elect Jordan the First 100 Days Committee meets tomorrow 0630."

You have even less understanding of the Constitution than Trump has, if that's possible.

Cruz could take enough delegates over the next few weeks to throw the convention into doubt for The Donald and that wouldn’t be good. No telling what mischief the GOPe pukes could pull in a brokered convention. This week’s results tell us that Cruz is far from finished and might, possibly, be on the uptick.

A joint Trump/Cruz ticket could solve that delegate problem instantly.

Better yet, Cruz has a grasp of the Constitution that Trump seems to lack. There is a lot of Constitution “rebuilding” that needs to be done to wash away the Obummer stain.

I don’t see it that way but I’m glad you’re consistent.

Rule 40 was put in for a situation like we have at this time where the Republican base is in revolt against the GOP-e and is a way for the GOP-e to fraudulently retain power and control.
_________________________________

I don’t think that is correct.

Rule 40 was there for years, it merely upped the number of 5 states to eight states.
After the 2012 primary it was increased due to the Ron Paul situation in 2012.

More info here.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/the-fix/post/ron-paul-wins-majority-of-nevada-delegates/2012/05/06/gIQA1An15T_blog.html

It sounds as though you want to abolish the minimum threshold.

Are you saying we should have went with Paul in 2012 or Mitt?
