Why is it that so many of the Freepers that refused to vote for Romney are now big supporters of Trump?

That question doesn’t deserve an answer.

In my case, I did not vote for Romney for several reasons.

First of all, I am a Christian, and I could not vote for a man and let him into my house via the media as President, and into my life as ruler over me, when the Apostle James tells us when someone comes to our door preaching another gospel, we are not even to wish that person good day. And Romney telling us, the only other covenant nation outside Israel, we making the covenant with God, not the other way around as with Israel, that his sons served our country better by going door to door spreading the heresies, leading the vulnerable away from the salvation of Christ into eternal damnation, than they would have by going into the military, to me pretty much summed up why it would be a horrible slap in the face to our Lord to elect this creature, when we have never needed His intervention as much as we do now.

The racism of the mormon cult is disgusting. I know they are better than they used to be, but it is very much there with many mormons, anytime I hear the N-word, it comes out of the mouth of a mormon and they have no problem saying it, thus I felt Romney was a terrible candidate to put up against Obama.

I had some pretty ghastly experiences when I lived in a town basically controlled by Mormons. They are incredibly intrusive, intolerant, even despotic, when they have the upper hand. I definitely do not want the mormons running things.

As a delegate last time around (but not a national delegate, I just did not have the heart for it) I just did not like the way the LDS church was so “in your face”, which they also were at the caucus, and how arrogant, patronizing, and insulting mormon delegates were (so I hung around the Paul people although I was definitely a supporter of Mr. Newt but I had a hard time finding others who thought like me for some reason, although I did run into them.)

I thought Romney’s slanders of Mr. Newt were detestable. All told, Romney has brought an ugly tone to our party which had not been there before, and now it is everywhere. And I am seeing it again on this forum — which makes me wonder just who all these nasty people really support. Ron Paul supporters are pretty fanatical and cult-like, and I have wondered if they are the same people, latched onto Cruz this time around, but now I wonder if in fact these people who are so insulting, so nasty, are maybe GOPe and a part of the Romney power group. Romney’s people, in my opinion, are ugly people.

Since it was my personal belief that if we elected Romney we were replacing TweedleDum with TweedleDee, and also we lose our party to the mormon cult if Romney was elected, and then would have no chance of finding a good man or woman to stand up in 4 years, there was no sin against my country in voting for a third party candidate who I felt was a good candidate; all I could do was pray that enough others would feel the same that neither Romney nor Obama would win.

Now about Donald Trump. In the 1980s, if you had told me I would ever consider voting for Trump, I would have laughed hysterically. Such a thing was unimaginable to me. I thought Donald Trump a rake and a playboy, shallow, immature, materialistic, attention grabbing — albeit to his credit incredibly hardworking and successful — although I was certainly no saint myself in those days (not that I am now either, but I hope I am a better person now than I was then.)

The Bible tells us, train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will follow. Donald Trump has grown up. Tho carnality and the man-child are far in the past. I see a grand old man who has returned to the way he was brought up to go, he knows right from wrong, he has an innate honesty about him — and even humility despite the braggadocio. He loves THIS country, he sees what is wrong with it, his life experiences have provided him with some insights as to how to fix things (although I do think we cannot be fixed without repentance and turning back to God) and he has the confidence and the courage to stand in the gap and say, let me try!

I think all that has happened in Donald Trump’s life, the sins and the successes, all work together in mysterious ways, and that Donald Trump is the one (not the Canadian who compromises the constitution even further with his candidacy) who might be able to fix this mess we are in. Certainly, these politicians in Washington cannot do it, they have no real world experience, and they are the ones who created this in the first place. So let someone on the outside, but who has dealt with the corruption for a lifetime and knows what he is dealing with, try. Who else is stepping up to the plate?

And one more thing, Michelle Obama! How does she manage to dress so badly, to look so awkward (I do not think she is man and I think her children are hers by the way.)

Wouldn’t it be a nice change to have a first lady who, when she goes abroad and stands next to a beautiful young royal princess, all heads turn to look at her first?

Maybe I am wrong about all of this, I am not very wise, I just have to trust my own judgement, as do we all. I have only one vote and my vote matters to me, and I believe it matters to God.

That’s how we got Obama. They refused to vote for Romney, and now they support Trump. Nominating Trump will get us Hillary.
