Senator Ted Cruz won a hard-fought partial victory in Texas during last night’s Super Tuesday primary battle. It was the culmination of months of time and money spent meant to culminate in a clear post-Super Tuesday lead in the race to the GOP nomination this summer. The southern states were to be Cruz’s ticket to the White House.
For Cruz, that ticket never arrived. The Texas senator remains well behind Donald Trump in the delegate count, and now rumors are swirling of a campaign that has spent almost as much money as did the already-departed Jeb Bush fiasco, with little more to show for it – and that money is said to now be running out.
The numbers are staggering.
Over $100 million raised, much of it from Big Oil, and law firms, and much of that now spent trying to secure a better than 50% victory in Texas that would have garnered the candidate all of his home state’s 155 delegates, Instead, Cruz will have earned less than 44% support among Texas voters, a number well below historical averages for home state Texas candidates.

Ted Cruz gambled almost everything on a decisive Super Tuesday victory. That victory instead went to Donald Trump. Now word is spreading that Cruz’s former willing donors are pulling back from the campaign. Cruz still has considerable cash on hand, as does the Super PAC promoting him, (both raised significant amounts last month primarily after Cruz’s Iowa Caucus win) but far less cash than before yesterday’s primary battle and likely not enough cash to survive yet another month or more as projections have fewer and fewer donations coming in, unless the senator is somehow able to pull off one or two big upsets come March 15th in either Florida or Ohio.

What turned me off was the Corker Bill and TPA. And his "me too" shift on Amnesty. Not to mention he didn't disclose he was still a Canadian citizen in 2012 when he won his Senate seat.
Did I mention he's the smarmiest candidate I've seen in my 50 years of observing this sport? I could get over that if it wasn't for the rest of the stuff.

Cruz does not want or does he seek a cabinet position or anything of the kind.
Losing this bid would only result in his resumption of his Senate position where he will resume his role as spoiler and continue shining the light on the cockroaches.

It's reality and I don't care if you live outside it. Even assuming he spent NOTHING in the month of Feb, the maximum cash he could have on hand is $25mil.
So lets just say he has less than $20mil on hand.
That's sparse going into FL, OH, MI and IL.

Lot of folks will not be snickering when gas goes back to $4 per gallon, which the donor class is hoping to buy with their money. Surely, ole CRuz would give the frackers a bail out if he gets in power.
First the Trump supporters say that nobody likes Cruz so he won’t be able to get anything done, and then you say that he is a premier insider. Which is it? It can’t be both. Pick one and stick with it.
When Trump's numbers go up and he cleans up in the next primaries, what will you say. Probably the same crap you said when ole race-baiting Cruz got his butt handed to him in the Southeast. Cruz is finished, over and done - stick a fork in 'em.
