Romney - Not One Word About ...
Vanity

Posted on 03/03/2016 8:47:53 AM PST by Williams

Illegal immigration! Not one word because that is what Romney's speech is all about.

And he knows the American people reject the GOPe on that topic.

Plus his speech was full of lies and exaggerations about Trump.

And he of course listed Kasich and Rubio ahead of Cruz because they will do the GOPe bidding on illegals.

Oh at the end he said Mexicans are being used as "scapegoats". I guess they aren't illegal immigrants Trump "imagined" that.

Odd that they claimed to support illegal immigration to broaden the tent, but crap on Trump when he hands them millions of new voters.

That's because "broadening the tent" is just the excuse that they use. In any case, if it were just a case of cynically fishing for votes, they'd realize that support for amnesty alienates more existing Republican voters than it could ever help attract.

Open borders and amnesty are ideological ends in themselves. Pandering to "minorities" is important to the GOP establishment, but not as important as working with Democrats to achieve the Davos goals of creating post-national order where borders (cultural, economic, and political) are erased.

A Cruz/Rubio partnership is a deal-killer for me.

He brought on Beck, so someone is feeding bad advise.

The best way forward on this is a Trump/Cruz ticket

‘SHOCKER’ ... Trump/Cruz tonight use FOX to announce they are teaming up. The debate then turns.

We’ll see what happens tonight.

Folks are laying it on, hot, heavy and angry! Of course, there’s the Mittens’ lovers and Trump haters also. But, they’re few and far between! GFYR! (Sorry for the language)

“Cruz campaign spokesman just said they welcome Romney and his barrage.”

HUGE MISTAKE ! This will damage Cruz.

If Trump and Cruz teamed up the primary would be OVER.

his was basically Romney announcing his candidacy. He did not endorse another candidate, in fact he called for them all to win just enough for him to s!ide in at a brokered convention. I hope they realize he is playing them too.

The RNC is starting to realize that their Golden Boy Rubio is a pathetic lightweight, so they're vetting alternatives for a brokered convention. How long before McCain decides that he wants a shot at another run too, without the trouble of campaigning?

You said...
“which is PRECISELY why Trump resonates with the voters”

Primary or general? Because, despite the belief of many here, he has very high negatives amongst the electorate.

He could still win. But he’ll have to turn that around somehow

Not really. Even Mitt knows you can’t change DT supporter’s minds. But he summed up exactly how I feel about Trump. Trump will never do what he has promised. His many friends on the left would disapprove.

Scratch that Cruz is already siding with Romney just like he teamed up with Rubio. They are all in with the brokered convention strategy. Cruz just wants to have the biggest bargaining chips. Sad..

“Which person said Trump voted for Obama in 2012 and not for Romney?”

Voting for Romney or Obama was the same thing. The only differences is if you enjoy black cultural cues, or red white and blue bunting with a white guy.
Both are otherwise identical.

Mittens just unleashed all the Dems talking points ....

They have to be saying Oh No we wanted to do that later.

When the Donald surge comes from this Hilly will be that much more concerned as her attack lines will have been used up and her “ compassionate fakery” won’t cut it as the oppositions army will be too much to overcome...

Willard also revealed the politician being political.. The embodiment of Hillary.

“Santelli said that Romney would be President today had he acted with more courage.”

So true. He has no problem slamming Trump but no courage in going after Obama or any other dimoKKKRAT.
