Donald Trump's yuge Super Tuesday win means that the Republican Smart Set have decided to unleash the big guns. The conversation went something like this:
Establishment Genius #1: "We need someone with real grassroots bona fides, a true winner, to come off the bench and clock this Trump fellow."
Establishment Genius #2: "Yes, yes, you speak wisely, good sir. Let me consider the possibilities. (Pauses) How about...Mitt Romney?"

No, but it may make some excellent comedy.

Well, a lot of people held their noses and voted for him, but they’re sure as shootin’ not going to listen to a word he says today!

As the GOPe rails against Trump, it reinforces his outsider status and energizes his followers.
Why would the GOPe, with the anger that we have towards them, send out the poster boy for the GOPe to speak against Trump?
Are they that dense? Are they that disconnected?
Interestingly enough, the little weasel, Harry Reid, says Mitt never released his tax returns that Harry said Mitt cheated on.
I’m proud to say I did not vote for Mitt Romney and I did not vote for John McCain and I did not vote for Bob Dole.

CROWLEY: He did call it an act of terror. It did as well take two weeks or so for the whole idea of there being a riot out there about this tape to come out. You are correct about that.

Most of the country hates Romney and the GOP establishment.
Seeing this display of petulance and stupidity from the RNC demonstrates exactly why this nation has gotten itself into the fix it experiences now.
