The billionaire industrialist Koch brothers, the most powerful conservative mega donors in the United States, will not deploy their $400 million political arsenal to attack Republican front-runner Donald Trump in the U.S. presidential primary election, according to an official from the brother's political umbrella group.
"We have no plans to get involved in the primary," said James Davis, spokesman for Freedom Partners, the Koch brothers political umbrella group.

Trump has crashed the Koch Bros.
On whose side are they spending on in the main contest?
Ping
Think this has been posted before, but my opinion, as I expressed there, is that this is likely disinformation from the Koch brothers. They had stated weeks before they wouldn’t involve themselves in the primary— then the story broke about the SuperPac designed to hide their involvement and the 75 million raised— and now they’re denying they will be involving themselves.
If the ads keep playing beyond whatever they’ve already paid for for this week, then we’ll know the truth.
BOOM!
I am happy the brothers have backed-offed.
Handwriting, meet wall.
#NeverTrump FAIL. couldnt even get Kochs on board. Rick Wilson crying tonight
I suspect that they are funneling money to Rubio, probably some Cruz as well, and to the anti-Trump PAC’s. I don’t trust them at all.
“I suspect that they are funneling money to Rubio, probably some Cruz as well, and to the anti-Trump PACs. I dont trust them at all.”
That could be. Funneling money through a 3rd party.
Super PAC’s - Cruz & Rubio’s ‘mafia’ connections.
I’m hoping Trump goes all in and spends upwards of two billion to secure his legacy of greatness and change politics in a historic manner.
They have so much money to throw around, then raise their taxes.
Mafia is mostly through Democrat government connected unions, not really as any PACs in the Republican Party.
Against the Republican Party? You bet, Teachers union alone gave over 100 million to elect Obama years ago.
Prudent.
These brothers have been the key force against Trump. Damn libertarians.
BS. We’re being played. The GOP have plenty of money for neg ads on Trump from other sources. Plenty of reports of an avalanche of ads about to hit Trump. Dupree was talking about it on Hannity today. Don’t buy GOP dissembling, IMO.
The Koch Brothers didn’t make millions just to p*$$ it away on a losing horse.
Is this a message to Mitt? Don’t do it?
