Trump’s winning streak baffles GOP Losing Club for Losers
Washington Times ^ | Charles Hurt

Posted on 03/02/2016 5:45:11 AM PST by RoosterRedux

Mr. Trump racked up so much incredible winning that going into Super Tuesday, the only way to maximize all his winning was to lose Texas to Sen. Ted Cruz, of Texas. By allowing Mr. Cruz to win his home state, Mr. Trump ensured the crippled candidate remains in the race under the illusion that he still has a pathway to the nomination. This, in turn, prevents a one-on-one race, which is realistically the only way Mr. Trump could lose the nomination at this point.

All this winning, of course, has so flummoxed all the members in good standing of the Losing Club for Losers that they were really not sure what it all meant. When they learned that all that winning means that Mr. Trump becomes their party’s nominee, they freaked.

“We have never won anything before so we didn’t know what all that winning meant,” they were overheard remarking to one another.

Now they are coming out of the woodwork to denounce Mr. Trump and are warning down ticket candidates that they are free to run their campaigns as anti-Trump as they want. Oh, gee, thanks, GOP. Because all your strategies are all so smart.

They are even talking about defecting from the party with some of their richest donors and floating a third-party candidate of their own to challenge Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Donald Trump.

This raises two interesting questions. First, who is this mystery candidate that was not worthy of running for president six months ago but has suddenly become the party’s silver bullet, perfect candidate? Second, will this “perfect” sneak candidate be pro-amnesty for illegal aliens?

That's the crux of the matter and they don't have an answer that is acceptable for either question. All they know is they peed and sh!t their diapers and it doesn't feel good; they're cranky, and they're sleepy and they just wanna cry and cry and get somebody to make it all better and go away.

Good article.

Was surprised that anything good could come from the Washington Post, but then saw that you got the name of the source wrong.

How much more proof is needed that our elected representatives could care less about us, the American people, or what we put them in position as our servants in government to do? Popular opinion?.. Keeping promises to the American people that got them elected?.. Doing their jobs as public servants?...Nothing could be further from their minds.

“Save us, Mittens!” cried the Losers of the Losing Club. “Oh, please save us!”

It wouldn’t surprise me if they tried to retread Jeb Bush, frankly.

The reason Trump is winning is because he’s everything Barack Obama isn’t, he speaks his mind and doesn’t pander to the PC crowd. People are really fed up with PC. Even the idiots have come to realize that being PC is lying to excuse inexcusable behavior.

We've had that proof for a while. See McConnell, Mitch. He's made it clear for at least a half-dozen years that his only concern is to hold onto his power in the Senate.

Ted Cruz’s speech last night was 100% establishment, if there is anyone left who thinks Cruz will be a change agent against the GOPe, you need to watch his speech last night.

The enemy is Hillary Clinton, yet Cruz went on a rampage attacking Trump and how he must be stopped at all costs.. That’s the establishment stance and Cruz is spouting it verbatim. Cruz, to me, lost all integrity last night with that speech. Any, any belief that he can or will be an agent of change against the GOPe evaporated with every spiteful sentence that he espoused last night.

One takeaway from Trump’s victory speech last night.

If he is the nominee, he is going to grill Hillary on a turning spit over high flame on the whole server issue.

Romney or McCain he is not.

Maybe they will dust off Romeny and get him some fresh new magic underwear and prop him up as a 3rd party candidate to give Hillary Clinton the win as they’d prefer that to Trump.
