Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) says the Republican Party may be forced to support presidential hopeful Ted Cruz in order to stop front-runner Donald Trump.
"You know Ted Cruz is not my favorite, by any means, Graham, who dropped his own bid for the White House in December, said in an interview with CBS. But we may be in a position where we have to rally around Ted Cruz as the only way to stop Donald Trump, and I'm not so sure that would work. His comments came with Super Tuesday results indicating Trump would win as many as eight states. They also came a week after Graham joked, If you killed Ted Cruz on the floor of the Senate, and the trial was in the Senate, nobody could convict you.
Graham has been a tough critic of both Trump or Cruz. He once said that choosing between the two would be "like being shot or poisoned. I think you get the same result, whether it's quick or it takes a long time."

Squirrel! Look at the Cruzies dissemble in this thread. Cruz is being outed as the careerist, no principled, GOPe he is by Linda. And all they can do is insult and change the subject. Cruznadian bacon frying tonight. LOL.
Wait,
I thought he was racist?
He is. The pic of Trump and Fat Al/ Rev-ruhn JACK-son is from a Top secret KKK meeting. LOL.
I think Sessions is going to be sad that he acted like a rat and jumped off the Cruz ship.
Yes, and any Cruz supporter who looks at his vote on the .corker amendment to allow the Iran nuclear deal, the TPA. Vote which almost assuredly guarantees the destruction of millions of American jobs through th TPP and cutting a deal with McConnell so Cruz would not support any conservative Primary challengers to RINO’s has to be a sucker to believe he will not sell us out in a minute.
Interesting!
Cruz is Establishment Enemy #1.
Apparently, not. Sorry.
I think Sessions is going to be sad that he acted like a rat and jumped off the Cruz ship.
Nope. He’s going to say thank God I didn’t back Linda Graham’s horse in this race.
I was happy to see Trump taking the high road & disappointed in Cruz.
It’s time they trained their guns on Hillary.
Probably in Nancy..
Just Trump being the more skilled communicator.
Cruz is a good lawyer and debater, but can’t stand up to Trump’s skills. The effect is cumulative with every appearance by Cruz showing an awkward out of step candidate, and every appearance by Trump more relaxed and Presidential than the last.
Best quote of the night, bar-none:
“We can nominate a Washington deal maker, profane and vulgar, who has a lifelong pattern of using government power for personal gain. Or we can nominate a proven conservative who has fought consistently for working men and women and to defend the Constitution.” -Senator Cruz
Great words if they were only true. How many Washington deals has Trump made? Has he sold out our security like Cruz by supporting the Iran Nucleaur deal? Has be sold economic security for millions by passing TPA that allows TPP to pass with a simple majority. Has he betrayed the conservatives in the country sitting idly by while they were trashed in primaries by The NRSC (of which he was a vice chair and gave $250,000) so McConnell would pat him on the head and say well done my servant you may ripen for president? Principled conservative? Enough to vomit.
“Hey, Lindsey, hold the Bible while Glen Beck administers the oath of office.”
Good grief, Cruz has always been strong on border enforcement. Trump on the other hand has just arrived at the party. Go try to rewrite history somewhere else.
And Trump has Jimmy Carters endorsement, so you shouldn’t laugh too hard.
Cruz would be a fool to trust Gramnesty.
Horsepuckey, and you have to know it. I’m calling BS on that post. It’s nonsense.
There’s nobody smarter than a Cruz supporter, yet they are the ones that “would never vote for Trump!”. So Smart.
So many of you Cruz supporters are down right rude.
I suggest a new tag line. BusTed.
