Whoever they want. The candidate has no control over them at that point.

You know I don’t usually get into the name calling, but I’ve been pretty patient with trump supporters calling us baby killers and liars - guess I just blew up at the wrong supporter.
In my first post to you, I reacted over what I thought I read, not the actual word. And you must admit it was a pretty mild reaction - no cussing at all. Then all the trump supporters decided they would have a free for all putting me down over it. All the while playing victim status.
My apologies to you and you alone.

I grew up on Oklahoma. I’m proud of those folks. A bunch of relatives in Texas. Tenneessee, my current home - not so much. Too much entitlement living has damaged the Tennessee brand.
I’d like to see an election in which the media was forbidden to publish polls. I imagine it would change things dramatically.

I went to college in a little town on the eastern edge of the Ozark Plateau of Arkansas in the late 60s. Friends from the area would take us city guys out fishing and hunting that’s when I first heard them called painters and lots of other old language. Unfortunately as the older folks have passed away that language has almost died out.
And Trump hasn’t been saying anything bad about Cruz/Rubio? Trump even said that Cruz is “worse than Hillary”. Trump is not innocent by any means.

Keep telling yourself that. Ted Cruz was behind Trump by 12 points in the RCP average polls, and still managed to easily clobber Trump in Oklahoma by 6 points because of superior ground game plus the fact the Oklahoma is a closed primary state, so Trump’s left wing supporters from the Democrats couldn’t cross over and vote for him in the GOP primaries.
Last polls had Cruz leading in California with its gargantuan tranche of delegates.
Cruz almost always outperforms his poll numbers.
If Jeb Bush had stayed in he could have lost more races......
