If Trump's ceiling is 40%, what does that make the other candidates' ceilings, as he keeps on beating them?

LOL troll-boy.

Let me try to give you the perspective of non-Trump supporters like myself.

If Trump’s ceiling is 40% in a splintered field then I highly doubt he could consistently get above 50% in a one on one matchup vs. Cruz. I seriously doubt many people supporting Rubio, Kasich or Carson would support Trump. Yes, he will pull some of those voters in, but not many. Remember from past polling Cruz is the 2nd choice for all other candidates, including Trump. Clearly the splintered field is helping Trump the most and hurting Cruz the most.

If you aren’t a Trump supporter at this point, then you obviously have serious problems with his candidacy. With that said, Rubio has a 0% chance in a one on one with Trump because I’d bet most Cruz supporters would swing over to Trump. I’m not one of those, but I know many would.

So basically the biggest farce of this is Rubio continuing on with his delusional campaign. Say what you will about Cruz, but his path to the nomination is way more viable than Rubio’s.

If the field stays splintered into the winner-take-all states then Trump wins it going away.
