By hurling these emotion-bombs, you show you have left the realm of expecting logic to prevail.
So the Wash Post prints comments that are anti-trump and you blame Cruz, and I’M the one who has divorced myself from reality.
Pot meet kettle.
You guys are a hoot.
Or...It could be the truth and youve drank too much Trump-aid to recognize it.
ok, fine. But please explain what “truth” you were talking about. The OP had only 3 things listed. anti-Trump, anti-Christie, Trump IS KKK. Then you wrote, “or it could be the truth. That makes no sense with the first two, and only fits with the last. Please explain.
it was a general comment about how you trumpeters think everyone else has turned traitor and only trump is as pure as the driven snow, and may well be the second coming.

Man, I said all that!!! hahahahahaha
Well FRiend, I’m sure that back in 1940, there were some voters who were disillusioned that Chamberlain resigned from being Prime Minister and were equally dismayed at the prospect of Winston Churchill being elevated to that position.
The future has yet to be written. Trump will most likely turn out to be different than what anyone expects on either end of the political spectrum. However just as he disposed of Jebuardo Bush like the RINO garbage he is, I believe Trump will dispose of the UniParty in Washington as well.
There is a reason why alleged conservatives (example: National RINO-Review) actually come out and begin advocating for a Hillary Clinton presidency because they think SHE would be better than Trump. And the far left is as agitated over Trump as they’ve been in decades. Add in the libtard media who have been carrying water for both the RINO ‘right’ and the leftist ‘RATS, and that tells me that Trump has all the right enemies.
Like that Chinese proverb, “may you live in interesting times.”
Later! And have a good day!
Obviously though you are very touchy when someone asks you a legitimate question and automatically assume it is an attack. Or perhaps that is just the technic you have chosen to employ to begin your response to anyone that dares question you, because you think it places you on some kind of moral high ground. I guess whatever works for you.
Is Trump conservative? As we both know there are degrees of conservatism. Do I think he is to the furthest right of the spectrum, of course not. Do I believe he is to the right of center of the spectrum, absolutely.
Now let's address respectability. Is Trump someone I would hold us a saint or even a highly religious person. Probably not, but then that is not the most important quality I am looking for in a leader at the moment. Carter was such a person and I do not want another like him. Do I think he is devoid of any religious embrace? Absolutely not.
Apparently these are important aspects you think the leader should possess, and absent them they will not get any consideration from you at all.
Right now I am looking for a fighter. One that will not retreat into the background when the going gets tough and the resistance mounts against him. He has shown me that he possesses these traits like no other in the race of either political party. You see right now I believe this is what is needed most. Had Trump had the other qualities you desire that would have been awesome. I think we need to tackle the problem with illegal immigration, for it is the most pressing problem this country faces right now.
I have indeed pondered Trump's motives and have come to quite a different conclusion than you. I think his love for this country is not only real, but sincere. If you look at what recent as well as historical evidence provides, he has expressed this love of country consistently. No flip-flops, no wavering, no maybes, no possibilities, just consistent positive expressions of America.
Your question as to whether I am a closet liberal, is indeed a valid question, and one I am happy to answer. Not only am I not a liberal, I have even gone so far as to cease maintaining friendships with liberals who were once friends. I'm not rude or mean, I just do not seek them out to even communicate with. I didn't announce my intentions, but rather just slipped quietly away from their spheres.
I was in fact a strong Cruz supporter who thought Trump was a joke. I was glad he had broached the subject of immigration. However, I also thought he would get bowled over as a result of having dared to go there. The fact that he kept up the same message and he didn't backtrack and make excuses as to how he was misunderstood like so many politicians do, made me begin to sit up and take notice.
The fact that the GOPe was against him helped him in the eyes of both my wife and myself. Then when he went against the press and came out on top I began to see Donald Trump in a new light, as did many others who support him.
Not sure if you have ever enjoyed playing chess, but sometimes it is advantageous to sacrifice your queen to win. Trump has played this game better than I thought he was capable of playing to be honest. Shows me that he is no dummy for sure.
So you are free to harbor hate if that is what helps you cope, but I prefer you let the hate go and realize that while you may have lost an important piece the game is ours to win. We need Cruz supporters, just as you would need Trump supporters if Cruz should happen to pull it off.
I guarantee I will be right there supporting Cruz, even though I feel he does not meet the eligibility requirements to hold the office of President. Not trying to start another war, just stating what I believe.
May the best man win, but more importantly may America and her citizens be the true winners.
Thank you for your thoughtful reply...wish you had done that the first time instead of this:
“People like you have all the correct answers, while Trump supporters have wrong answers if they have answers at all.
Are you a desperate GOPe operative plant?” I did not take this to be a “legitimate question” but rather the same, tired, snarky comments made to any who oppose Trump.
And at the time of your post to me this is the extent of the “vitriol” I had offered: Trump-aid. Go back and reread my post 4.
But, truthfully, you gave me a thoughtful reply, so we shall progress from there and let bygones be bygones.
I despise Trump. He is antithetical to everything that I hold dear, every principle I try to live my life by and I believe that he will bring this country to ruin...if not by his own outright actions (probable) then by the destruction that he will wreak upon the conservative movement (definite, in my mind).
The frustration from those of us who oppose Trump with all of you is that youve apparently set your hopes upon an empty vessel. Where is anything that he’s actually DONE, (not just what he’s run his mouth about), that shows he has a single sincerely held conservative belief? Where are the foundations he’s created with his billions to advance the conservative agenda. Where are his battles that he’s waged against the liberal establishment in NYC? There are none.
Conversely there is a disproportionate amount of evidence that he has actively supported and embraced everything that we on FR have been fighting against for 20 years. I will not let my loathing for the man go until such time as he has sufficient record as a conservative to warrant my trust. Because otherwise...all he’s doing is destroying my country, which is what I believe he will do.
No incoming fire from re: Cruz’ eligibility...we all have our own opinions on that...and nothing more.
You say you embrace him because he’s a fighter. That is not correct. You embrace him because you believe he will fight for something you support. The problem with this is: what happens when he starts fighting for all the things you DON’T support, like he has the entire rest of his life?
In all seriousness to you, cheers FRiend.
No, it's not.
Thanks. You are a better man...
Show me the article where it says he loves the KKK in the paper referenced by the OP.

Words mean things, FRiend.
And save your breath, dont kick this back on Cruz or anyone else. The OP referenced articles about Trump. That is what were talking about. Dont change the subject, like the trumpeters love to do.
Yes, words mean things. And when Cruz slings mud to tar Trump by (non) association with the KKK it matters. How principled and conservative of Ted Cruz. Really, really sad to see former Bush admin official Ted Cruz called home to the GOPe.
They only win if we allow them to win. They are orchestrating that and Cruz supporters have fallen into that trap being set. You Cruz supporters are now so disgusted with Trump that many of you would not vote for Trump. The same does not hold true for Trump supporters. We would coalesce behind Cruz.
I was a strong Cruz supporter. I was hoping that Cruz would pick up the mantle of illegal immigration and make it his, but he never did. I'm not sure if it was because he really does not see illegal immigration as a problem, or it was fear of going there. It really doesn't matter because his refusal to be more vocal hurt him and hurt him badly.
While a true conservative might be what we want, can one actually win? What I want and what I will settle on for now are not the same. It doesn't mean I have abandoned conservative principles. Instead it means I find illegal immigration to be so important to the conservative movement that it takes precedence over ensuring a conservative be our nominee. While preferable for sure, there are dire consequences looming if we fail to secure our borders, and now not later.
I am not fighting Cruz supporters because I think their man is unfit, but rather because they are not helping this country or her citizens by continually bashing Trump with every little thing the Trump detractors raise to create that wedge between us. Surely you recognize what is being done here don't you?
I am trying to implore Cruz supporters to stop attacking Trump. Boost your guy, but stop bashing Trump. Like it or not Trump is our best chance.
If we must have vitriol let us have it for the GOPe and the Democrat candidate. Let's stop eating our own best chances.
well, i guess you told me! I can’t compete with all of those facts you just overwhelmed me with.
< /sarc>
congratulations! You completely missed the point! Gold star for you!
That was just my ping to see if you would “ask” or “tell.”
got the answer I expected.
Congratulations. I can no longer tell Ted Cruz from Paul Ryan. They both say the same thing. Whodathunk it!
Maybe OP is referring to the Amazion’s Bezos who is also the owner of the WaComPost.
Is this what you’re meaning, bboop?
Tell you what...go read my posting history AND read the responses I’ve received. Take a look at how often I’ve “asked” and see how rarely I get ANY sort of answer to the question that was asked.
Then come back and talk with me, ok?
Lots of stuff from Yahoo but they are a bunch of spammers and one from Bing that is just links to the primary polls.
