If Joe Scarborough were ever, as some have claimed, in the the tank for Donald Trump, he has officially climbed out as of this morning. On today's Morning Joe, reacting to the clip of Jake Tapper's interview, Scarborough called Trump's refusal to forthrightly reject the support of Klansman David Duke "disqualifying."
A bit later, Joe and Mika Brzezinski said that if Trump fails today to clean up the situation, Chris Christie "cannot stay with Donald Trump's campaign."

Does anyone have a link where David Duke or the KKK endorsed Trump? It didn’t happen and Duke himself has said he didn’t.

And once the light bulb finally goes on at lease renounce the endorsement is a way that doesn't make it look like you're renouncing it only because you're forced to do so. This is a Democrat campaign commercial in the making.

the other way to look at this is instead of 95% of blacks voting Dem, this might mean 97% do.
Now correct: Trump stumbled. But that doesn’t make him sympathetic to the KKK. Truth be told, he was just reluctant to reject the support of anyone. He is not PC.
A most unenthusiastic disavowal it was too. So then why did he hesitate later on the news shows and act like he wasn't sure if he was going to repudiate Duke or not?
What’s on video is Trump saying, who is this guy I have no idea who he is. I won’t disavow someone’s I don’t even know. I’ll look into him and if what has down is wrong then I can disavow. It’s a trap to associate his policies with reacist and he didn’t fall for it
Yep... you’re running for president of the united states.... you’re on television in a press interview..... the guy says “david duke and the ku klux klan have endorsed you... do you disavow this endorsement?” .... Just on this thread you have been told numerous times he has disavowed . You are doing what the media does by asking the same question and wanting this to keep in the headlines .
He was asked on stage with Christie there, his handlers were not there and he disavowed it.

I'm not sure you need a list to repudiate the Klan or White Supremacist organizations or any hate group. All you need is common sense. If Louis Farrakhan endorsed Trump do you think he'd hesitate to disavow that or do it as tepidly as he did David Duke?
As I said, he’s probably just toying with them to observe their reactions.

Trump is correct in not repeating his disavowing of David Duke. He owed a response, he gave it and once is enough.
