If Joe Scarborough were ever, as some have claimed, in the the tank for Donald Trump, he has officially climbed out as of this morning. On today's Morning Joe, reacting to the clip of Jake Tapper's interview, Scarborough called Trump's refusal to forthrightly reject the support of Klansman David Duke "disqualifying."
A bit later, Joe and Mika Brzezinski said that if Trump fails today to clean up the situation, Chris Christie "cannot stay with Donald Trump's campaign."

Agree.. the show has been a 4 month infomercial for trump. It does look like it has turned.
I’m pretty sure the video with Christi behind him was when he was first asked. Then over the weekend he was asked 3 times in an interview and said he didn’t know who duke and the ku klux klan were. I think that is the order it happened.

He had already disavowed it days before, why should he keep being asked about this crap.
It may have been a rerun from the 6:30 hour. Who knows? I flipped it on about 7:30 - 8:00am after the Today Show interview. Still, Joe’s thundering like Robert Mitchum’s preacher in Night of the Hunter was ludicrously over-the-top. For a guy who was implicated in Condit’s sex parties, he sure is holier-than-thou.

That’s true. They just want an association. Trump says I know nothing about this guy. Then later disavows or whatever. Now he’ll say I knew nothing about him until they mentioned him to be, pretty nasty guy

It appears from the video that he was already fed up about this. I think Trump hates the media - as well he should - and it’s showing.
Trump should have given a full-throated denial to an endorsement from the terrorist wing of the DemocRAT Party.

The only reason people keep bringing this up is either because they are too dumb to understand or using it as an hit piece.
Trump stumbled. But that doesn’t not make him sympathetic to the KKK. Truth be told, he was just reluctant to reject the support of anyone. He is not PC.
