Cruz might win Texas, but it is still a proportionate state, so Trump will also get some delegates. After this, however, Cruz is probably finished.

Let's put it this way. If I'm a Texan and a pollster came up to me...you bet I'd say Cruz is my man.

Except that would be a big fat fib. If I elect someone, I expect him to show up for work. Look at Ted's record. If I have to work....so does Ted.

So Mr. Pollster...Texas expects absolute loyalty and Texans want good report cards, too but I'm not stupid and will vote Trump ;-)

We’ll see. But winning the state is only a mental victory, what is more important is that Trump will receive the 2nd largest share of EVs and in the end however many Cruz wins arren’t going to matter any more than the 1 EV in Iowa does.

Wow, this is exciting...Cruz might win his own state. Unfortunately, he will end up with under 50% of the vote so Trump will only be a few delegates behind. At least Cruz will be able to bow out on a semi-high note. I just hope he can win re-election to the Senate in a few years. But the damage may be done.
