In the case of Trump University, the situation is even more disturbing. While Schneidermans investigation into Trump University first arose out of a larger inquiry into for-profit schools that accepted federal funding, his office quickly learned that neither Trump University nor its students had ever received any form of federal funding, subsidies or other government aid and offered all of its students a 3 day money back guarantee if they were not completely satisfied. Despite learning these facts, for the last two years, Schneidermans office has spent hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars conducting a no holds barred, scorched earth investigation, assigning as many as ten of his staff members to interview former Trump University employees and review literally hundreds of thousands of pages of documents. Making matters worse, Schneiderman chose to devote such valuable taxpayer dollars to looking into Trump University even though there was already a class action lawsuit pending in California brought by the firm of disgraced former lawyers and convicted felons Bill Lerach and Mel Weiss.
And what did Schneidermans office find after wasting so much of the taxpayers hard earned money? Exactly what Trump University told the Attorney General on day one that as much as 98% of those students who participated in Trump University programs were not only satisfied with their Trump University experience, but would recommend the program to a friend.

Trump does things with his own money so he’s his own man. That’s what the government can’t tolerate.

Trump is alarmingly popular upstate, by the way. Don't know if you remember this guy or not, but I worked very hard for Carl when he was running for gov against cuomo.. He is one in a million... I love him.
I couldn't break up the html so posted a few posts I had re him ...
Dear Fellow Republicans and New Yorkers,
Tonight America took a giant step forward toward Making America Great Again. The Republican voters of New Hampshire have spoken and by a strong and decisive margin they chose Donald J. Trump as their Republican presidential nominee.
Donald entered the race months ago, has respected the Republican Party and participated in the process just like all the others running. But he is a different kind of candidate. He is the kind of person who says what he means and means what he says. He refuses to pander and to be politically correct; he doesnt speak Washington doubletalk. He is authentic.
The results in New Hampshire tonight prove overwhelmingly that Donald Trump is the grassroots candidate who Republicans and many other Americans want to be our next President.
Its time for New York Republicans to unite behind our own native son. Its time to listen to our great former State Republican Chairman Bill Powers and choose a winning candidate: Donald Trump.
It is a rare opportunity for New York Republicans to play a critical role in both the nomination and the general election. Donald Trump has earned our support and now is the time to give it to him.
His victory in New Hampshire speaks for itself. We cannot wait any longer. Please join me immediately in supporting Donald Trump. Email me at carl@carlpaladino.com or call me at 716-854-0060 as soon as you can. We will be announcing our New Yorkers for Trump team very soon and I want you to be part of it.
Lets Make America Great Again. Lets make Donald J. Trump our next President.
Sincerely,
Carl Paladino

Paladino Recruits For Team Trump
From the Morning Memo:
Buffalo businessman and 2010 Republican nominee for governor Carl Paladino is all in for Donald Trump and hopes you will be, too.
Paladino is recruiting a New Yorkers for Trump support team, increasing his efforts after the real-estate mogul won the GOP New Hampshire primary by a wide margin.
It is a rare opportunity for New York Republicans to play a critical role in both the nomination and the general election, Paladino wrote in an email. Donald Trump has earned our support and now is the time to give it to him.
A Siena College poll this week, released before the New Hampshire vote, showed Trump with 34 percent of the vote among Republican voters. Florida Sen. Marco Rubio and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz each have 16 percent.
Paladino and his political operation have proven adept at mobilizing Republican primary voters in the past. Six years ago, during his campaign for governor, Paladino scored an upset victory in the primary against former Rep. Rick Lazio, the preferred candidate of the GOP in the state.
Paladino was able to do so by turning out votes in his base, western New York.
In the email, Paladino called on New York Republicans to unite behind Trump, alluding to comments made to The New York Post recently by the former state GOP Committee Chairman Bill Powers.
Its time for New York Republicans to unite behind our own native son, he said. Its time to listen to our great former State Republican Chairman Bill Powers and choose a winning candidate: Donald Trump.
The states presidential primary is scheduled for April 19.

WHAT HE STANDS FOR
Paladino says that he plans to use interpretations of the Constition of the State of New York to declare a fiscal state of emergency, which he will then use to freeze compensation of state, municipal and school employees and cut the state budget by 10 to 20 percent. He proposes closing off welfare services to those who come from out of state to receive benefits, by placing a minimum residency requirement of one year before anyone can claim state benefits.
He seeks to cut the state's Medicaid budget by nearly 30%, or $20 billion by making significant cuts to benefits, requiring identification, fingerprints and drug testing in order to receive benefits, and training family members to take care of people who would otherwise be in long-term care.
He has also expressed distaste for public servic labor unions, which he has compared to pigs, and is an outspoken critic of the state's Taylor Law, which gives unions significant negotiating advantages in exchange for prohibiting them from striking. He promises to take a hard line in negotiations with unions, whose contracts expire in April 2011, and will refuse to grant them favorable condition.
He supports current governor David Paterson's efforts to furlough state employees. In the event of a late budget, he would shut down most levels of government except those related to public health and safety. Paladino would first target patronage jobs for elimination; i.e., those who received their jobs as political favors and through family connections. He would also rely on the state's rank and file to target persons "incapable for whatever reason of performing their functions at a cost productive level, and hopes to eliminate 60,000 jobs from the state workforce through these reductions.
He would seek to eliminate numerous perks such as state-owned take-home vehicles. Paladino also supports converting some minimum security prisons into Civilian Conservation Corps -style camps, which he dubs the "Dignity Corps," a program he bases on both the CCC and the work of a local mission in Buffalo.
At the local government level, he would consolidate the operations of most school districts at the county level, with a single appointed superintendent, and also consolidate other local town and village operations at that level. He is currently considering a solution for districts that span multiple counties.
In regard healthcare and the healthcare legislation, which he adamantly opposes, he has stated that he believes that the long-term impact of the act would be just as memorable and possibly more deadly than the September 11 attacks. aladino has pledged himself to one term in office.
With regard to a planned Islamic community center two blocks from the site of the September 11, 2001 attacks on New York City, in late July, 2010, Paladino came out with a radio ad which stated, "As Governor, I will use the power of eminent domain to stop this mosque and make the site a war memorial instead of a monument to those who attacked our country. more

I've been to about 50 professional seminars. One promised Steve Jobs and they delivered...It was an old Jobs educational video and it was excellent.
No one is pressured to fill in those review forms. Ridiculous. It's not like it's changing a grade. And I've never filled one out before the seminar.

Somewhere, I am pretty sure I read that any posting about Trump, Cruz and Rubio were only to be negative. The more negative the better.
I guess this one slipped by the administrators, since it is pretty positive about Trump.
/sarcasm, if you did not notice.

No one ever said it was an accredited University or even a class associated with an accredited University. Schneiderman was full of cr**.

Actually, it was just Trump with Cruz and Rubio lending a hand. If you have the time, read the full article below, it is rather chilling.
GOPe Announce Plans To Go Full Mississippi on Donald Trump To Destroy Him
.
So how do they do it? Simple, its war a thermonuclear political war. There are no boundaries, there are no rules, there is nothing too far, there is nothing held back.
They run attack ads, theyll shout names and make up malicious smears; theyll follow the candidate around to make noise at rallies; they lie about anything and everything; theyll pay anyone and everyone to assist, and they dont care if the high-information voter knows what they are doing; its all part of the overall scorched earth plan.
Theyll pay people to do and say anything, ANYTHING. Winning is all that counts. Destroying the opponent is all that matters. Every means justifies that end. Period.
The GOPe have already hired actresses and actors to appear in the attack ads and to make personal appearances, as actors, during Trump events. The hiring agency is Talent Direct Agency (TDA) The actors and production teams are working out the script details right now.
More than likely the construct begins tomorrow with the CNN debate. Expect a full media assist from an ideological corporate media empire who also has skin in the game and corporate ownership who also see candidate Donald Trump as a risk.
A thrilled attendee for the bloodbath, NROs Charles Cooke, puts it this way: Tomorrow night, as they stand on either side of Trump, Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz must find their resolve and all-but-machine-gun the man to the floor.

No one ever said it was an accredited University or even a class associated with an accredited University. Schneiderman was full of cr**. In New York any school needs to be registered with the state education department. Trump University didn't do that, regardless of name. But the state didn't sue them because of that. New York sued Trump University because it was a fraud, start to finish. If anything in this picture is full of cramp it's Trump U. The Donald should have been more careful where he peddled his name to.
To: true believer forever; The Mayor
Don’t know how popular he is in Buffalo, but The Mayor is doing a fine job.
I met Carl at the state convention the year that he ran. Great guy. Very good with people. He reminded me of Mario Cuomo and Alphonse D’Amato in that way. He got sideswiped by personal stuff, really too bad. A solid conservative.

Article I linked says this....
QUOTE: Trumps camp points to surveys conducted by attendees that reportedly show a 98 percent approval rating, but New York State alleged that some students felt pressured by their teachers to provide high rankings or were asked to rate the course before they had even completed it. END QUOTE

“...some were pressured to fill out positive reviews and some were filled out before they took the courses.”
Says more about the students than Donald Trump. I’m not defending Trump, but those attending get-rich-quick seminars/schools don’t always have the greatest judgment skills.
(Seen a number of fraudulent schools myself, and all should be busted. That includes Trump, if guilty.)
