A MSNBC correspondent on Tuesday decided to do a live report from a gun range. As one could guess, it didnât go well. Reporter Kerry Sanders pointed at the gun-rights fans and began, "There are lots of folks here who believe that Second Amendment in this country is under attack.â Seconds later, the shooting started.
The Second Amendment afficionados drowned Sanders out. He sounded like this: âA short distance away later today [BLAM] Donald Trump [BLAM] â protect the Second Amendment.â He soldiered on, shifting to other topics. But it came across as this: âTalking about [BLAM] Ted Cruz has fired his spokesman. Weâre probably going to hear a lot more later [BLAM].â

LOOOOL!
I am not sure what to think of that as I carry a P238.
The ported guns are rough in the enclosed firing position ranges. Many around here don’t allow them during general shoots.
I once knocked some 2X4’s down that were in storage up in the rafters above the line while firing one of my ported Contender wildcats. Scared the hell out of everybody. LOL
Luckily nobody got hit.
I wasn’t criticizing the P238 which is a fine concealed carry. I was criticizing the guy who was trying to impress his girlfriend. His reaction to the “Mine is bigger than his.” was priceless.
“The ported guns are rough in the enclosed firing position ranges. Many around here donât allow them during general shoots.”
Our Super Redhawks were not ported but they still produced an exception noise level and plenty of concussion. That’s why the range owner usually let us have the one side of the range and diverted other users to the other side. He expected the guy and his girlfriend to be gone before we got there for our usual 7:30 shoot.
LMAO....Is that Wisconsin sign for real?
If it is I am sure the State didn’t put it up.
An alternative would be standing near any Mosin Nagant 91/44 carbine (with bayonet extended, of course) as it was firing. How about 6 feet of muzzle flash!
“When we finished our firings and stepped back, the girlfriend looked at her boyfriends 380 and the at my buddies Super Redhawk with the 9 1/2 inch barrel. My buddy looked at her and said: âYes, mine is bigger than his.â The boyfriend couldnât get her out of there fast enough.”
Priceless! A story to tell the grandkids (when they’re old enough, of course).
The Wisconsin sign reminds me of one I saw when entering Pennsylvania in the early ‘90s from NJ. NJ’s Gov. Florio had just jammed his Assault Weapons Ban down our throats, and PA’s Gov. Casey (the elder) was very pro-gun. To Florio’s great annoyance, Casey had signs posted on every road leading from NJ into PA the following sign:
“Welcome to Pennsylvania. America starts here.”
I even have a picture of it with me standing next to it. My friend and I, on the way to a gun show to buy stuff that was blatantly illegal in NJ (”evil” “high capacity” magazines), stopped right away to snap photos.
It was no accident by socialist MSNBC... Propaganda Minister Goebbels would be proud
Gun ranges are noisy?
LOL!
The sign is wrong...Chicago isnt disarmed. The criminals and gangs have weapons, the rest proabably dont....take your chances.
I went to the range recently where they only let you shoot buckshot from the shotgun. I had mistakenly bought 3in magnum 00 buck. Holy crap!!! THAT sounded like a tank gun!!! Gotta find some low brass buckshot. The single action, however was real fun.
Carry pistol is a Remington 1911R1. I love the .45.
My Ruger Old Army would be fun too with 35 grains of black powder under a 240 grain bullet. Huge BOOM! and muzzle flash, plus a big cloud of smoke.
LOL, The poor guy and his girl would be deaf and flash-blind for a week! Everytime they closed their eyes would be this after-image of the muzzle blast floating in their vision. I know this because I own one.

The hardest kicking gun I own is a 20 gauge Remington 870. I know that sounds mild but try it with a slug. I think it’s worse than the 45-70 guide gun. BTW, the 45-70 was one of the original buffalo cartridges.
Many years ago at a hospital I won’t name, there were a number of violent incidents in the ER with one finally ending up with 2 staff member shot and killed.
Another student and I were rotating through that ER and he mentioned to me that he was really disturbed by what happened. So disturbed, in fact, that he had decided to carry a gun. He asked me if I wanted to see it, I said sure. He then dug deep into his pocket and pulled out a .25 auto. I reached around and pulled the Combat Commander out of my 12 o’clock IWB holster. His eyes got wide and he said he was hanging out with me until we rotated to our next assignment.
