BOSTON As Massachusetts prepares to vote in the state's presidential primaries this coming Tuesday, a new WBUR poll shows Donald Trump holds a hefty lead among likely Republican voters (topline, crosstabs).

Trump has 40 percent of the vote, with Ohio Gov. John Kasich and Florida U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio battling for second place with 19 percent each, and Texas U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz in fourth place at 10 percent.

My point is this used to be a conservative website that supported conservative candidates. It has morphed into a lighter version of DU or DailyKos. A conservartive like Senator Cruz gets no support here but a New York liberal like Trump is the king. It is sad to see that last conservative site go to the dark side.
==
Thinking conservatives are also pragmatic. Its clear Trump will be the nominee, so we can either fall our your swords and die(Hillary) or vote Trump and live to fight another day. No candidate is ever perfect but any R is better than Hillary.

Plus, sure Cruz gets support here, but Cruz has no one to blame but himself for a damaged campaign, and be honest leaders are chosen not only by their policy but also their persona, Cruz’s real persona was in full display last night, a snarky lawyer, and full supporter of GoPe as evidenced by his comment on supporting the bought and paid for open border establishment, Rubio over Trump. Cruz will never be president, this election or any other, the more he’s seen, the less he’s liked. Just the way it is.

So you are saying we must vote for a liberal because that is the only way we can win ? Seems to me I have heard that before, like with McCain, Romney.....

Our last nominee was also a liberal. How did he do?

Like the "Frog in a Blender" at JoeCartoon.com...

Speaking of which, that frog gave the reason, too: NO...BALLS.

The notion that Trump is no conservative, therefore he’s a liberal, is unintelligent.

Whether you like Trump or not, you have to give him credit. He kneecapped the Clintons early on. He introduced a whole new generation to the escapades of the 90’s and put a dent in the taken for granted ‘wimmen’ votes Hillary Clinton was counting on. No other candidate ever did that. Or would consider it. I want to beat Clinton. Period. Sick and tired of seeing her getting away with criminal actions that would have jailed any other. Let him get started on the 2012 election, the lie of the video, the abandonment of the embassy. I will never get over that. The public has a short memory. Trump has a gift for refreshing it, no matter how brash a manner he does it. He came to the aid of a soldier being held in Mexico, when our collective State and administration were too busy wringing their hands over optics.

So you are saying that the way to beat the liberals is for us to nominate a liberal with balls?

Trump has never been a conservative. He pretends to be one now. Have you not seen the thousands of his quotes over the years that confirm this?

No, the answer is to nominate someone with balls who loves America AND can communicate to the electorate.

The electorate today is Kardashian fans and Millenials who think 140 characters at a time.

Erudition and soaring eloquence are lost on them: and are easily undercut.

Since the dumbing down of education, and the mass importation of Third Worlders (Thanks Ted Kennedy and 1965 Immigration Act), we've started becoming Idiocracy.

Supporting the Gang of eight is not conservative in any way shape or form.
No matter how much you want open borders to be a conservative position.

Last night Cruz threw in with the globalists

In the general Trump is going to win a couple of blue states. Mark it down.
