"Of course I'm staying in the race. Why would I drop out when I've got the best chance to be the nominee outside of Trump?" He also warned that without him Trump would be the nominee, "If I get out, which I'm not going to do. Trump is absolutely going to be the nominee. End of story."
A few die-hard Kasich fans were at the event, but most attendees were undecided and came to hear Kasich's talking points.

I just laughed coffee out through my nose.

Well, that’s 3 of 4 who have said the same thing.
And I do not begrudge them it...they have to say so, and enthuse their supporters.
Lol. What a Dumbass.
Kasich really showed Trump in NV, SC.
Take on Trump? At what, checkers?
Kasick? Is he still in the race?
Hahahahaha!!! Good one!! On my 12 mile drive to work there’s one lone Kasich sign on the side of a busy road. It dangles and flaps in the breeze, barely able to stand up. Just like the Kasich campaign.
He’s done so well, so far.
Oh, wait...
I realize they feel they HAVE to say these things, but at a certain point is just makes them look stupid. What realistic path to victory does Kasich really think he has? If there’s some kind of Rubio scandal, or he self-destructs somehow, I suppose the GOP-e would have no alternative but to turn to Kasich as “their guy” to try and push at a brokered convention - but the chances of that seem kind of low.
Regardless - stay in there, Governor! Every vote you get is one that Rubio loses, and if Rubio loses we ALL win.
What’s a Kasich?
I am laughing so hard right now people are stopping to stare.
That’s what they all say! It would be newsworthy if he came out otherwise, he’d be suspending his campaign!
That’s like Betty White saying she’s the only one who can take on Ronda Rousey.
I guess he’s using the money he made at Lehman Brothers to stay in the race. What a waste of time and money.
Judging from the polls, he's starting to eat into Marco Rubio's votes in Super Tuesday races.
I wish him well.
Republicans need 1,237 delegates to win the party's nomination;
The race will be more defined next week.
I don't see Cruz or Rubio dropping out, splitting the non-Trump voters.
As foolish as it sounds, Kasich may be right. The Mississippi Mafia and their GOP-e pals are coming after Trump — and God only knows what mud they will sling.
I read the headline quickly and thought it said: “Kasich Says He’s Only One To Take A Dump.”
