***And we’re going to need FR now more than ever to combat the current crop of Marxists and progressives who have infested our government and public institutions and who are dead set on destroying the final remnants of our cherished constitution and our precious God-given liberty!!***
Ah but we are told constantly the exact opposite, so people believe that there venting on here somehow is going to save the Republic!
It’s when we get off of the internet and get in the streets, that’s our only hope now to save the country.
There’s a good chance Cruz loses Texas and Rubio loses Florida in the coming weeks.
It’s a popular news site in Alabama.
Tattle tales. How adult.
FR used to be a great site. Yes.
It looks like Teddy will squeak out a win in TX but Trump will get a lot of those delegates. So I don’t think it makes much difference. Rubio is not well loved in FL and has been trailing badly to Trump in the polls for mos. FL is the big prize.
This thing is about to be over except for the weeping.
***Thatâs because the hatred toward an evangelical Christian is thick on Free Republic. Itâs the Catholics, atheists, and agnostics, who lump all evangelicals with the Prosperity gospel shiesters.***
Oh PLEASE! First of all, the fact that you just lumped Catholics with atheists wreaks of bigotry. Then you want to complain that Evangelicals are lumped in with the prosperity gospel? Talk about irony ! Catholics ARE CHRISTIANS! And the fact that we have been so maligned on this site, especially the so called Religious Forum, makes your arguement utter nonsense!
Look up Cruz and his Fathers beliefs. That’s his problem, not other Christians. HE believes in Dominionist theology and so does his Father.
That would make no sense. You count intentions, not results.
***It’s even worse if you use FR and don’t donate. If you are one of those who feel it’s OK to use FR daily w/o helping pay to keep the lights on, then please don’t complain about the welfare leeches because, functionally, you are no different than any other who enjoys the fruits of others’ work for your own benefit. Also, don’t be surprised if others decide that your opinions are as worthless as your non-donations - hypocrites aren’t worth listening to.***
First of all, I am one of those Freepers who can’t afford to pay anything. FoodFREE on my table is hard enough, and medicine and medical bills on top of that means I’m not sending money to a FREE website.
And I for one am tired of these guilt trips and accusations of freeloading or being like welfare leeches to a free website! It is absolutely nothing like welfare! The government isn’t making Jim have this website, and they certainly aren’t making him make it free.
All he has to do is charge a monthly fee. Those who can afford it will pay it and those that can’t afford it won’t. It’s that simple.
As long as it’s offered for free it by definition can not be freeloading. Donations are just that, donations.
Asa Hutchinson is backing Rubio. How do you think that will impact AR. Haley of SC couldn’t get him a victory there.
“What has Trump accomplished as a political achievement?”
Assuming you mean a governmental political achievement... are you serious? All these years here and you have missed the salient issue — the elephant in the room? WE DON’T WANT A POLITICIAN!
***I canât wait until Trump funds Planned Parenthood again.***
You don’t have to wait, your dream had already come true!
Remember this Conservative Republicans that just got elected/ re-elected? They just funded it.
But you already new that.
***What Iâve always thought was a shame about Freerepublic was being slammed for voting your conscience.***
Agreed.
***Agreed. Ted Cruz has been practicing his faith with integrity for years. His unashamed faith in God is not phony.***
So you’re a personal friend of Cruz? If you are, then you are aware of his Dominionist beliefs and how they are so out of touch with Scripture and mainline Christian beliefs.
Desperate Liar - Glenn Beck Sends Followers Fake Trump Tweet - Trying To Prop Up Failing Ted Cruz...
Posted on January 16, 2016 by sundance
UPDATE: 8 Hours after sending the false information, Glenn Beck hides an “apology” on his FaceBook page. He did not remove the Tweet, and does not apologize with the same publicity of the fraud via Twitter and Fox Broadcast - very typical Beck maneuver.
It is no secret that Glenn Beck is a staunch advocate for Ted Cruz. The relationship between Beck and Cruz is one of mutual financial benefit.
However, today Beck shifted his advocacy to another level of scheme with an outright, and already debunked, lie sent out to his twitter followers:
It was hard not to feel schadenfreude when Bush went down. After having had Bush the elder, Dole, McCain, and Romney crammed down my throat by the donor class back when barrages of TV ads really could destroy insurgent candidates, it was really sweet to see the establishment crushed for once.
Rubio is also a bought and paid for tool of that wing of the party that has run things for too long, and he needs to go. (I also don’t want us to be at war in 6 spots on the globe simultaneously, which is where the extreme neocons he has chosen to get into bed with would lead us).
I don’t care for Cruz, but I am not engaging in schadenfreude over his imminent demise. He doesn’t deserve to be grouped with them.
I am hoping for a Trump/Kasich ticket. Trump will need someone who knows his way around Washington, which Kasich does from his long time in the House, and Kasich also understands how states work, and how important it is to let the Constitution do its thing, leaving states to decide how to run their own affairs.
Kasich is pro-amnesty. He also expanded Medicaid as part of Obamacare. He is firmly part of the GOPe. His only real plus is being governor of Ohio, which the Reps cannot lose if they want to take the WH.
“... Dominionist beliefs ...”
You mean the clear teachings of Scripture, where God told people in Gen. 1:28 to exert *dominion* over it, to subdue it? There’s nothing “out of touch with Scripture” about Gen 1:28:
And God blessed them [granting them certain authority] and said to them, âBe fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth, and subjugate it [putting it under your power]; and rule over (dominate) the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and every living thing that moves upon the earth.â (Amplified Version)’
Do you find the words “subjugate” and “rule over” and “dominate” offensive? If so, maybe you don’t really know what they mean. After all, they’re right there in the Bible.
So, since you’re a personal friend of Cruz you find yourself in a position to damn him as a heretic? You’re friends enough with Trump to affirm his seemingly absurd statement that he reads his Bible more than anyone else in the world?
I think he is flexible, and would follow the lead of the top of the ticket, which they all eventually do.
I don’t think he is as much a member of the establishment as some people claim. With an accomplished governor like him available, why didn’t the establishment flock to Kasich after New Hampshire, and instead go with Rubio? I think the establishment doesn’t like Kasich because he, like Trump, has a real populist streak and cares about the working class voters that are key in this election.
And if one is worried about conservative purity on healthcare policy, one wouldn’t want Donald Trump at the top of the ticket. All of these guys have flaws. But hey, don’t worry about my opinion, nobody of importance has my number on speed-dial! :-)
