"I would think that because of the fact that while I'm very political - I'm not a politician - I would want to choose a politician," the candidate told FOX Business Network's Neil Cavuto.

That's obvious. Ted Cruz. Nope - Cruz would not leave his Senate seat for VP. He's far more important in exposing establishment RINO's in the Senate. If Trump is the nominee, he better STFU on calling Cruz a liar as he would be perfect on the Supreme Court or at least Atty General.
Trump is an unforgiving guy though, so I bet he'll pass on Cruz altogether. He just better be smart and pick a REAL conservative as his VP.

only in FReeper fantasyland...
Scott Walker
John Kasich
Susanna Martinez
Rick Scott
Rob Portman
All the above fit his comment about wanting someone who had political experience to help get things thru Congress. Otherwise, a former corporate CEO or executive.

Just joking, “Rush”. Actually, he should make Rush his press secretary.

This is where I part ways with Heritage. Rubio is part of the establishment and a great pretender. I will be sick if Rubio is the nominee.

I like Perry but his campaigning outside Texas has been a disaster.

Trump should choose someone who shares his vision and who he gets along with, but would serve as a conservative anchor.
Two names come to mind in that regard, Alabama Sen Jeff Sessions and Liberty University President Jerry Falwell Jr.

There are a few others, but I think that Newt Gingrich is a very likely possibility.
