Ted Cruz has a double-digit lead over Donald Trump in Texas, according to the results of a new poll of likely Republican primary voters released Wednesday by Houston Public Media and the University of Houston Hobby Center for Public Policy.

The Texas senator has 35 percent of likely Republican primary voters in the state, followed by Trump's 20 percent. All other candidates are in single digits...

Ted Cruz is a good guy, I like him, he’s my second choice, but I do like him.

I just watched the first Ted Cruz commercial here in Georgia and it was terrible. Just awful. It came off as very fake tuff-guy talk about “killing the terrorists” and such.

I love the idea of killing terrorists and still thought the commercial was terrible. He was faking what he thought would appeal to me. Disingenuous in the extreme.
