This afternoon in Sparks Nevada. Donald Trump told voters that all the candidates had left the State of Nevada in the morning, and were unworthy of their support. Here is Trump saying it:
It is true that Marco Rubio and John Kasich are not in Nevada for the running of the caucuses. Rubio is in Michigan, and Kasich was in Georgia. But there's a problem for Trump. Trump strongly reacted to the Cruz campaign using a media report in the Iowa Caucuses against Ben Carson, calling Cruz's victory a fraud.
This time it was Trump himself saying that Cruz had left the state and was not worthy of voters votes for doing so. Multiple tweets from reporters show Cruz in Nevada, speaking at caucuses.
An hour later as caucusing is well under way, Cruz is still in Nevada
Will Trump hold himself to his own standard?

As a liberal democrat trump knows that lying will not hurt him but rather the truth will become what he deems it to be.
“Did Trump tell voters that Cruz left Nevada? Yes. He literally did.”
I watched the video.
He never mentioned anybody’s name.
How long does it take to post an image like that?
Do you get paid for doing that?
Can you respond to a question written in English?
Do you think or just emote.
Just checking.
A major reason IMO why this country is going down the toilet is the sheer avoidance of personal responsibility from our leaders and from the citizenry. The importance of being "responsible" was driven home to me as a young platoon leader: every thing my platoon did, or failed to do was my responsibility, and no one else's.
No, I'm not perfect in that regard, but we have the right to demand more from those we elect, and we have the right to expect it from our fellow citizens. Living in a republic is hard work, and mindless jaunts through life create the conditions for The Destructor.
Those who will blame my abstaining from a Trump vote as the reason why a Democrat wins is guilty of that "mindless jaunt through life."
I remember the great Rudy Purge a few years back. A lot of good, long time FReepers were tossed because they backed Rudy. Having grown up in the NYC area, I thought he did an awesome job. I was careful not to go too far out on the limb because I saw what was going on. Flash forward to today and....I just shake my head.
I took a couple of weeks and posted very little to see how I could do w/o FR and it’s just fine.
It’s a big internet out there. The value I once received from this board has been greatly reduced, basically by the “chat room” atmosphere that is allowed to dominate the threads.
I promised myself before Trump announced that I was voting for a Conservative this time. I will do so, even if that means a write-in or someone outside the Republican party in the general.
And to be clear....That eliminates Trump.
No, a four year old child is expected to exaggerate. At Trump's age you call it being a blow hard.
He said that he was the only candidate left in Nevada. Cruz, however, was still in Nevada.
Trump lied.
Stop trying to wiggle out of it. Trump did not tell the truth. He said one thing, and it wasn’t true. Literally.
“Sean seem pro-Trump. Is that incorrect? He was happy Trump won, heâs grinning from ear to ear a lot”
I don’t know. I stopped watching FOX completely after the first ‘debate’. I think you know why. And I don’t miss it either.
But the day before the SC primary, Sean (on the radio) said that “It will be interesting to see if Trump can garner support from people other than the blue collar and uneducated.” Really - he had the gall to say that.
Still, I doubt that Hannity would be that condescending on his own; my gut tells me he got that line from the boys in the GOPe.
Claiming all Trump supporters have no principles is a very unprincipled stance.
About 4 keystrokes for me.
Pretty dishonest headline and article.
“Did Trump tell voters that Cruz left Nevada? Yes. He literally did.”
Literally did????
How is that possible when he never calls out anyone’s name?
No, the headlines specifically says that Trump specifically said Cruz had left Nevada. He did not. There are five candidates running. He said “they” all left, which, generally speaking, they had.
Did it really make any difference, at all, when he spoke those words to a limited number of people, compared to all those who voted?
Yes. Please continue. The policy of dishonesty has served Cruz so well. I can’t remember a candidate going from Hero to Zero quite so quickly.
Not if my principle is to claim Trump supporters suck, all the time, and I stay true to that.
Trump attacked Cruz for repeating a CNN report, saying it was false. Was there even a CNN report to back up Trump’s BS claim that Cruz had left Nevada?
Trump is a liar. His supporters wailed about Cruz, but now accept Trump’s lie like a delicious sh!t sandwich. Unprincipled.

No, that’s not true. Generally speaking, and specifically speaking, that’s just not true. Ted Cruz was still on the ground in Nevada when Trump said that. Trump lied. And you continue to wiggle around, trying to make it that he didn’t lie. But he did. Trump was WRONG. Period.
No, not grasping at anything here.. facing the fact that Donald Trump followers are one and the same as those who followed Hilter.
Sad day for America and I’m so thankful that God will bring this to a end in His Time.
Give little Teddy some Ovaltine and kiss his booboo
