The Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mevlut Cavusoglu, boasted on television that Turkey could occupy Russia in seven days.
"We call on Russia, which is one of our major trading partners, to stay quiet, but we also say that our patience is limited."
"Since the crash of the Su-24 jet, Russia has taken every conceivable opportunity to undermine Turkey."
"Certainly my government behaves like a mature and experienced government, but our patience has limits."
Faced with Russian efforts, we have, no fear, no remorse. We act with moderation, to bring our relations back to normal."
However, if necessary, I assure you, we can occupy Russia in less than seven days with NATO and our regional allies," he warned.

NATO to Turkey: Good luck with that!
Um, er, maybe you should walk that comment back a little.
Hitler thought the same thing.
Wow—the Stupid is strong with them.
I wonder if NATO has nukes stationed in Turkey.
Whenever I hear of some sabre wielding blowhard making asinine statements like that, I see Indiana Jones in the Bazaar square scene.
Turkey just asked to exit NATO.
Paging Hitler...
...
Did this dimwit hear the threat about Russia detonating a nuke in the Istanbul Staits resulting in a 30 foot tidal wave over all of Istanbul. 9 million deaths and all of the debris and nuke waste swept out to see.
Key point...with NATO.
Now what makes you think that NATO will follow Turkiye on it’s fools errand?
Any nukes stationed in Turkey are under control of their respective governments and useless to the Turks.
Hitler, Napoleon and various sultans all said that.
Hitler’s troops froze in their summer uniforms.
Good luck, chumps. You are going to need it.
Please pick up the white fail phone.
:^D
Actually, this is a kind of “words’ payback. The Russians are always making statements like this. So let them spit their borscht out a little.
Mind you, I do not support Islamacists over Christian countries, but talk is always cheap, and the saying of outrageous things had become a Russian specialty...
Maybe he should talk to the minister bemoaning the lack of Russian tourists and the yugggge hit to the Turkish economy.
I, for one, have sworn off Turkish Taffy. That will teach them.
Are they STILL smoking hashish in Turkey?
At least I had my first good laugh of the morning.
