Massachusetts voters must stop Donald Trump
Boston Globe ^ | February 22, 2016 | Staff

STOPPING DONALD J. TRUMP is imperative — and not just for his fellow Republicans. In Massachusetts, which votes next Tuesday, unenrolled voters may also vote in the GOP presidential primary. The Globe has endorsed John Kasich, the highly qualified governor of Ohio, and urges unenrolled voters to cast a Republican ballot for him instead of voting in the Democratic primary on the same day.

The Democratic race features two credible candidates, former secretary of state Hillary Clinton and Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont. For registered Democrats, who cannot take a GOP ballot, Clinton is the better choice. But for everyone else, the GOP primary is where their vote can really make the biggest difference.

The Ministry Of Propaganda isn’t bothering with any pretense these days.

I'm thinking they are bothering with pretense. They are trying to get new voters (hence unenrolled rather than registered dem) to vote Republican instead of voting for Bernie.

This newspaper would probably prefer Trump as the Republican nominee, but are being pragmatic and working on getting rid of Bernie first.

Why?

Yeah, the Boston Globe's endorsement probably isn't going to sway very many people who vote in the Republican primary.

Does anyone read the Globe?

Yeah, my canary when he's taking a crap. He really hates when he goes all over the funny pages before he's done reading them, though. Still, he loves Mexican bird seed, even if that always makes him sick...

I live in S.E. Mass. My 7 neighbors are 100% Trump. Me too.
Fighting mad at high taxes, flood insurance mandate, immigration, and paying for junkies’ and ex-cons’ and welfare cheats’ free medical and food stamps....while watching our city turning into a ghetto.

How about taking a break? We get it. Will you stay home if Trump is the nominee?

Hoping to watch the BG throw a big fat hissy fit when the voters ignore ‘em.

.....and swarms of officers and malignant theft by elected officials. Gina Ramundo in neighboring R.I. is catching up to MA. They might even be worse.

Well, I was somewhat undecided, but the Globe article certainly clarifies everything:

Trump.

Liberals love Trump, so he’ll probably do very well in MA.

"...The Democratic race features two credible candidates, former secretary of state Hillary Clinton and Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont..."

A demonstrated criminal and a self avowed socialist and this is what the Globe comes up with?

Reagan won MA in the general.

He also won CA.

Im not saying Trump is Reagan by any means. But the slandering of some states as a whole as a way to deflect is unnecessary and often not based in fact.

Trump won SC, is leading in GA and AL. All reliably conservative stayes. I dont understand the vitriol.
