The Hour Is Growing Late to Stop Trump (Advocate an Immediate Rubio/Kasich Team)
Sabato's Crystal Ball ^ | February 20, 2016 | Larry J. Sabato, Kyle Kondik and Geoffrey Skelley

If you had told us when Donald Trump entered the race that he would take second place in Iowa, win New Hampshire easily, and then triumph in South Carolina, you’d have needed smelling salts to revive us. But he’s done it, and no one else has really been able to shake the intense hold he has on about a third of the Republican Party.

The old question becomes THE question: Can Trump expand his ceiling to 40% and above, as the number of opponents dwindles?

Money quote:

Now that Bush is out, Rubio might want to consider a daring gambit — openly offering Kasich the vice presidential slot in exchange for the Ohio governor’s support.

Just what we need! Beaver and Ward - admittedly a twitching, vastly aged Ward with a major dowager hump.

As regards this incipient — and growing — rebellion out here in “flyover country”, I believe Mark Levin recently said that “...the MATCH has been lit.”

I disagree.

My sense is that there is a FUZE burning “out there” and if the GOPe manages to derail or destroy Trump OR Trump makes it through the primary gauntlet to the convention and the GOPe “brokers” him out of the nomination, there WILL be an explosive reaction by those of us who are absolutely FED UP with the lying, the CORRUPTION of and the BETRAYAL by our elected ALLEGED REPRESENTATIVES.

That said, should Trump win and go on prove to be but another undercover Judas Goat sent forth to lead us to the final holding pen of the One World totalitarian abattoir, that “explosive reaction” will make the “extreme unpleasantness” between 1861 and 1865 look like a peace rally!

Just sayin’!

The Cheap Labor Express is panicking now.
They have managed to give us amnesty candidates every election since the last amnesty.
This time it is not going their way.

Yeb! was supposed to be The Designated Loser.

Now, you talk about “rich”.....

Let’s go ahead and nominate two individuals as a ticket, NEITHER OF WHOM WILL WIN THEIR OWN STATES.

Sounds like a winner to me!

In what universe does Rubio beat Hillary or Bernie?
This is the Democrat’s dream gop ticket!

No thanks.

Rubio/Kasich?

But you and I, we’ve been through that, and this is not our fate
So let us not talk falsely now, the hour is getting late.

Kasich inexplicably supports open borders, let the Syrian Refugess (insurgents) in, and Common Core.

Kasich is Bush Jr.

He commands the 5% Rino population.

That's why, despite what people say that trump will do, I think Trump loves his children and grand-children too much for that to be his legacy to them.

Hey! I resemble that remark!

If you're going to ask me, forget Kasich and his Ohio.

I said Rubio a while back, but I'm not fond of that pick either because it's too obvious, but at least, Rubio has put it all on the line by not running for reelection.

I had been looking at Christie for Trump's VP, but he washed-out early.

Rubio?

Gang of Eight?

Campaign lies and then Amnesty?

I have concerns about Trump, and I am not confident he will keep his word on key issues. I am 100% confident Rubio would keep his word on Amnesty, and that would completely destroy whatever is left of America after Obama is finally kicked to the curb.

Rubio is a non-starter. I’ll vote third party before I vote for Rubio.

Rubio + Kasich = 27%.

Trump still has more. I’m not sure what the point would be.

If you had told us

What have they been hearing?

For decades Americans have begged, voted, screamed, petitioned, marched, protested, boycotted for relief in an effort to secure borders, and D.C. did nothing.

Borders which were intentionally left open and in fact were aided and abetted by those in D.C. A relentless epic violent country killing illegal invasion. All this while entire major cities and entire states have been completely over during these decades.

Simple question: Besides wondering how they can get reelected, where were all these big Republicans/ conservatives in D.C. during these decades of invasion, decline and betrayal?
