Loretta Lynch: We’ll Position DOJ to Do Obama’s Work ‘Long After’ We’re Gone
Brietbart ^ | 1/11/16 | Ben Shapiro

For all those who revel in the fact that there are 374 days until President Obama finally gets the hell out of the White House, a cautionary note: Obama and his colleagues are rigging the bureaucracy so that their unique brand of “hope and change” extends far beyond their tenure.

The latest evidence: Attorney General Loretta Lynch told New York Magazine this week, “My goal is to position the [Department of Justice] where it will carry on in all of these issues long after myself and my team have moved on.” She was responding specifically to questions about how she planned to prosecute gun sellers under Obama’s new executive actions.

Lynch, unlike her predecessor Eric Holder, isn’t a bomb-thrower. Like President Obama before his self-deification, Lynch hides behind vagary and a general sense of reasonableness. “We went in thinking We’re going to ask her the toughest questions we can come up with,” says Steven Edwards, a lawyer who interviewed Lynch for a local bar publication. “And we couldn’t lay a glove on her.” As New York Magazine states, Lynch simply ran out the clock on

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)
97%

’s (R-TX) questions to her during her confirmation hearings.

Those who can get a pink slip, get one, those, that can’t, be transfered to a rubber room at Gitmo. They do not have a right to that job.

” However, a single blow against one group of illegal strikers is far different from a general assault on the entrenched bureaucracy.”

Step one - Start with the most egregious bureaucrat violators of our liberties - the EPA - and arrest them for sedition. Then throw them in prison and strip them of all accrued benefits.

Step two - Congress passes a law forbidding bureaucrats to write law.

Step three - Congress passes a law forbidding the courts to rule on any action taken against the bureaucracy.

All these steps are within the constitutional purview of the president and Congress.

There are other, more punitive actions that can be done.

This would be an appropriate place in FedGov for someone like iCarly.

Create a new cabinet position, call it, uh... Department of Audit and Inquisition, and empower it to go into each of the alphabet agencies starting with DOJ, just because they seem to be picking a fight in the future or at least say they are, and make them justify their jobs. Then the default action is to fire their asses and tell them to go get a real f'n job.

NEXT:

IRS
EPA
(Education, whatever their acronym is)

And that's just the first year. Probably oughta make it a priority to get all of their lackeys out of the DOD too. Totally clean up everything he's done in the first year and then some.

I'm not kidding. iCarly could fire their deserving butts with indifference like no one has ever indifferented before.

Government employees are legally allowed to unionize based on an executive order signed by President Kennedy. A new President can fix this problem by simply repealing that executive order. A true conservative would whip out their pen and sign that repeal right after they complete their oath of office.

Good points. Government employees don’t have to be Democrats or bad people to be a problem. They can be honest, hardworking, good at their jobs ... in agencies that shouldn’t even exist.

No. A new president can order the DOJ to drop the lawsuits.

Just as Obama did with the Black Panthers Lawsuit.

"The Bush DOJ filed suit against Malik Shabazz and two of the local NBPP radicals who were on site — one with a billy club. None of them filed an answer to the lawsuit, putting them all into default. I am told this is the easiest way to win a lawsuit. But instead of taking the default judgment that DOJ is entitled to against all of the defendants, the department last week dismissed the lawsuit against two out of the three defendants. As Election Journal (which broke the story with exclusive video of the intimidation) notes, one of the individual defendants who was dismissed, Jerry Jackson, “is an elected member of the Philadelphia Democratic Committee and was a credentialed poll watcher.'

According to a legal source familiar with DOJ procedures, dismissing a lawsuit won by default is unheard of."

Why is the Obama Justice Department protecting New Black Panthers

I agree that the means exist. I do not believe the will exists.

The next President only has to void Obama’s EO’s and Lynch is toast with a new and good Attorney General with a clear set of priorities. He may need to shuffle up the leadership withing the DOJ.

Which candidate is most likely to give the DOJ the enema it so sorely needs? CRUZ!

I think you have that backwards. Here are a few examples for you to ponder:

One of the reasons I switched from Cruz to Trump is that Cruz has shown himself to be far weaker in what he will do and won't do.

The first sign for me was the TPP/Corker bill. His vote was a sign of weakness (like most of the stuff RINOs have done for a long time).

The second time was in December when he said he would never go after the Clintons past problems with Clinton's womanizing and sex life. Trump eviscerated the Clintons two weeks later on the same subject, and he beat them back.

The third time was his wishy washy statement on waterboarding (hoping to not offend some liberal no doubt). Trump came on and said what needed to be said, that not only would he do it more, there would be tougher things he would be done.

Have you ever heard the expression You're fired?

You've got this backward, Trump would go after them in a heartbeat, and wouldn't hesitate under the glaring lights of the rat/media complex.

This is just one more reason why the next president, hopefully a conservative, will have to do more than just appoint an Attorney General. He will have to do a thorough house-cleaning of the left wing ideologues that no doubt have multiplied during Obama’s tenure in office.

I went on the DOJ website. There is nothing about them taking any type of civil service exam. I am not sure but does that mean they are not civil service? If so than they can ALL be fired. Clinton got resignation of all senior AG’s when he got in.

I hope that you’re right but PJ Media didn’t sound hopeful about cleaning house of anyone but appointees.

I “lived” in WDC for 30 years before escaping. Many fed employees worked very hard. However, much of what they were doing was retrogressive and useless. Very little of what they accomplished could ever be considered positive. Most were there for their paycheck, benefits and retirement. Corrosive drones might best describe them.

Unelected, unaccountable, faceless, nameless bureaucrats will continue to make life a living hell through regulation. They are dug in so deed a proctologist can’t find them. And just wait until the crybullies graduate and get their givernment jobs.

That was my very point. A person might be an excellent cost accountant, for example, and a good neighbor and exemplary husband, too. However, if he’s working for the Department of Education (or Energy, or Agriculture, or HHS, or HUD, or ...), then his job is a BAD THING for the country.

These Federal employees and their families and communities have a lot to lose if there’s the slightest move toward Constitutional government. They have lots of money and plenty of time to raise a huge stink, and lots of built-in sympathy: after all, none of us wants to lose our job.

I expect zero effort to disturb the Hive, no matter who is elected.
