LIVE THREAD:Trump rally in Atlanta 2/21/2016 @ 4:00 (EST) Georgia World Congress Center

Sunday, February 21, 2016: GOP Presidential candidate Donald Trump will hold a campaign rally in Atlanta, GA at the Georgia World Congress Center. The event is scheduled to begin at 4:00 PM EST.

I live in LaGrange,GA only 52 miles from the area. I have tickets to attend, but I'm told already that lines are forming for the 4:00pm event.

In our local mall there is a mural size black and white photograph of John Kennedy in a convertible, riding through downtown LaGrange in October 10, 1960 for a campaign stop. At the time, there were roughly 23,000 people living here.

From here they drove to The Little White House, FDR's vaction home, in Warm Spring's, GA where he gave another speech.

Our airport is now bigger, and we have a tad more people, almost 35,000. So, I'll probably skip the Atlanta function today, unless I can hire a "place holder," and instead send an invite, via this posting to the Trump Team to consider LaGrange, GA for a campaign stop, on the way to Fort Benning, in Columbus. If it was good enough for Jack in 1960, it should be good enough for Donald in 2015.

IF ANYONE HAS ANY IN ROADS TO THE TRUMP CAMPAIGN PLEASE LINK THIS NEW THREAD TO THEM. I THANK YOU.

“I’m trying to get him to come here.”

Lol - you mean over to your house? Let me know how that goes!

I thought it just so wrong to drag the kids on stage last night. What was it, 10:00 pm by the time he spoke?

Exactly and I have been asking why those kids aren't in school, too.

Kindergarten doesn't really matter all THAT much, but by second grade it sure does, especially in private school, which I bet his kids go to !

I don't know if I can describe a "brokered convention" but it's one of those things that you will know it when you see it. Basically a bunch of cigar-smoking men in a backroom wheeling and dealing and deciding the outcome amongst themselves.

Yes and he tries to kiss her anyway and she'll have none of it.

And WHY carry a SEVEN YEAR OLD around, like a sack of potatoes? That kid can walk!

Brokered if on candidate doesn’t show up with the needed number of delegates.

Trump has already been to these states. we love him down here.

Interesting - thanks for the heads up!

Hannity had a Town Hall with Cruz for about 1/2 hour Fri night and a few of his endorsees showed up.

Then he had a Town Hall with Rubio.

I’m relatively sure that Trump’s will be larger than either (though there did appear to be quite a few at the Cruz one) - maybe as many as the two combined.

I live in Galveston County Trump will carry Galveston county. Cruz is spending lots on ads here, he knows Texas is far from a sure thing for him. I believe Texas is proportional if no one gets over 50%. It is highly unlikely Cruz will get over 50% here.

“I don’t understand why the pundits are talking about a brokered convention at this point. If it depends on no one candidate having a majority of delegates, there’s certainly nothing to make them think that’s going to happen here.

I suspect it may be wishful thinking, but I admit I don’t know that much about it.”

My understanding is the brokered convention is where they have all alone planned to take Trump out. They will try to make sure the elected delegates are not Trumps even if he wins the delegates. Say if most selected to be delegates are people who like Rubio, they vote 1 time for Trump at convention, if Trump does not get 51 percent of vote then delegates are released to vote for who ever the want.stack the delegates with who ever the GOP wants to win and that is how they get it.....even if say Rubio only had 25 percent of the people voting for him, he can win it via delegates...it sucks. That is why it is important if you or anyone can to it to become a delegate at the local level........they will try to slate you out so never say who you support :)

“His personality is fine. It’s his supporters that have sunk him, which is pretty much to be expected when you use proselytizing as a campaign strategy.”

BINGO! I never called Cruz people inbred, or stupid, or ill-mannered, uneducated, stupid, etc....

I was posting pro-Trump stuff and started catching all sort of condescending BS flak from “Christians” telling me how stupid I was and how much better they were due to their choice of candidate. The arrogance was/is astounding.

I voted FOR Cruz in Texas but now all of a sudden I’m a ‘trumpbot’ or’trumpster’ or ‘trumpet’ who apparently is so stupid I can’t see Trump’s flaws and now I’m part of a cult.

My support for Trump does not approach the levels I’m accused of...and the ONLY camp doing that is the Cruz camp. Followers of the other candidates don’t do that.

So yeh, I hear you when you mention the Cruz followers are a big turn off. It’s true. Not only that, Cruz now is not the same Cruz I voted for in TExas. His donors and Campaign Staff are ruining him. Sorry, it’s true from my perspective.

“And BTW, Trump and his Family looked World Class!”

The ARE world class! It’s not an act.

Another reason I like Trump!

Harris County, here, so we are neighbors. I’m pretty sure Trump will take Harris County. I even have some Muslim immigrant friends in Harris and Austin Counties who have been US citizens for a couple of decades. Even they are voting for Trump. That has to tell you something.

“Here in Tx when Cruz announced I was certain he was going to get my vote. Now with Trump in the game and crushing it with the top spot he’s probably getting it instead. If it was the reverse scenario I would stick with Cruz.”

With you 100%.

I've been wondering how Texas works. Thanks.
