Sunday, February 21, 2016: GOP Presidential candidate Donald Trump will hold a campaign rally in Atlanta, GA at the Georgia World Congress Center. The event is scheduled to begin at 4:00 PM EST.
I live in LaGrange,GA only 52 miles from the area. I have tickets to attend, but I'm told already that lines are forming for the 4:00pm event.
In our local mall there is a mural size black and white photograph of John Kennedy in a convertible, riding through downtown LaGrange in October 10, 1960 for a campaign stop. At the time, there were roughly 23,000 people living here.
From here they drove to The Little White House, FDR's vaction home, in Warm Spring's, GA where he gave another speech.
Our airport is now bigger, and we have a tad more people, almost 35,000. So, I'll probably skip the Atlanta function today, unless I can hire a "place holder," and instead send an invite, via this posting to the Trump Team to consider LaGrange, GA for a campaign stop, on the way to Fort Benning, in Columbus. If it was good enough for Jack in 1960, it should be good enough for Donald in 2015.
IF ANYONE HAS ANY IN ROADS TO THE TRUMP CAMPAIGN PLEASE LINK THIS NEW THREAD TO THEM. I THANK YOU.

If Trump wins big in NV, he enters Super Tuesday with 3 big wins in a row. He’ll have the momentum on his side. All the polls I’ve seen from Super Tuesday states, Trump is leading by wide margins in 10 of them. Cruz is leading in 2, Arkansas and Texas. However, all these polls were before NH and SC, so there might be changes. If Trump wins 10 out of the 12 states, and Cruz wins 2, how many people will continue to donate to and vote for Rubio? If Trump wins all the Super Tuesday states, I don’t see how either Rubio or Cruz have any sort of path to victory.
It is possible that the bandwagon effect kicks in and people could just start voting for Trump simply because he is winning, and why waste a vote on the guys who are perpetually 2nd and 3rd place?
I stopped listening to Mark long ago and Rush when he went after the nice woman from Kentucky, the minute she said that she was a Trump supporter. I doubt that I’ll ever be back for either.
My feelings exactly.
Rush has built a career - and earned a fortune - being the “voice” for disenfranchised, frustrated conservatives who feel we have no one in Washington looking out for us or our country. If Trump wins, he’ll BE that guy, and there won’t be any need for people like Rush anymore.
Levin is just a little mini, nastier, wanna-be-Rush.
I found it. Thanks. Diamond and Silk. They’re pretty cute - I suspect they’re cashing in on the gig with Trump. Good for them....I see a little more bling than they first sported lol.
Trump has more than double the # of delegates than the rest combined.
“Diamond and Silk”.....Thanks!
I haven’t listened to Rush or Levin for a couple of weeks now.
At first, it was terribly hard, as I was a dedicated listener of both.
The longer I go, the better I feel too!
I tried listening to Levin a couple of times awhile back. His voice grated on me - he was not pleasant and enjoyable, and no humour. If I need to listen to some angry know-it-all yelling, I’ll drop in on my in-laws.
He HATED living in NYC.
When he lived there, he NEVER took advantage of ANY of the wonderful things available there.
So I believe that it is a combination of things...he and Levin have been BFF for decades, both Mark and Rush's brother are BIG anti-Trumpers, Rush probably never liked Trump to begin with, he still HATES NYC, and perhaps he's back on the meds again.
And that number will only get bigger.
That sweet Southern-sounding lady? That was the day that I turned Rush off too.
He was laughing, mocking her, and since he hails from “Swampeast” MO (Cape), he has NO room to talk.
“I’ll drop in on my in-laws”

bushwon,
I decided not to go. The lines were forming at 7am. I’m trying to get him to come here.
I assumed Rush was going along with his brother, whom I believe is a strong Christian and assuming is supporting Cruz. Then there’s his strong friendships with Fox people, pushing the Murdoch-supported Rubio. At first I thought Rush liked Trump, but that seemed to change.
Good afternoon all!
Is he speaking yet?
“Here in Tx when Cruz announced I was certain he was going to get my vote. Now with Trump in the game and crushing it with the top spot he’s probably getting it instead. If it was the reverse scenario I would stick with Cruz.”
I am in Texas, too, and I voted for Cruz when he ran for the Senate. This over-the-top religious thing, allowing Beck to pull him around with a nose ring, and the dirty campaign tricks are too much for me and a lot of others in Texas. I am voting for Trump as are most of my Republican neighbors, and even some Democrats. Texas is not a sure thing for Cruz.
All she did was say hello, state where she was from and that she supported Trump and he went OUT OF HIS MIND NASTY on her. I was shocked and that was that for me! And I've been listening to Rush since 1989 !
I didn’t see that one, only the one of her turning away when he tried to kiss her. I agree, I think they’re too young to be hauling around all over the country (I could see a special event attendance). Shouldn’t they be in school - possibly K and 2nd?
That’s what my friends and relatives in Texas are ALL telling me too and they say that it is true for their neighbors and friends as well.
