You’re parroting the Open Borders establishment line that, ‘They’re only doing the work Americans won’t do.’
It’s an abominable lie, and I know this because I’m a business owner myself.
Yes, it’s true that many of our young people are slackers, but when has that not been the case? For every twenty-something slacker, there are half a dozen bright and eager kids who will show up and work just as hard as any foreigner, provided the pay is commensurate with the work product performed.
But this has nothing to do with my point, which was, we need to suspend ALL immigration to this country for the next fifty years in order to properly assimilate the tens of millions of foreigners already here.
It’s destructive to the cohesiveness and general sense of our shared American identity to continue importing other cultures without ensuring that they become one with us. Allowing immigrants to remain differentiated and foreign, is a recipe for national suicide.
Well, we’ll never agree on this.
I respect your concerns and think that that there are certain immigrant groups which should have immigration further curtailed.
