Every HoR member, and 1/3 of the Senate are up for election this year.

After Trump secures his own nomination watch him go to work on his coat tails.
Look for him to support those who want to help Make America Great Again.

Those who do not, will not be returning to Washington.

Exactly. This is why they want to knock Trump down and are funding the useless Jeb and even Cruz to beat him.

Trump will go after every open border quisling out there.

Kill the tax exempt status for the Catholic Church. Use that money to build the wall and to buy up all the beach front property in Mexico.

Good idea, have them working only on the south side of the construction. When the job is completed they are already home.

Sigh! How about we first stop giving food stamps, free medical and housing benefits to illegal aliens?
How about we stop providing taxpayer funded translators to help them sign up for welfare?
How about we deny Medicaid payments for labor and delivery of anchor babies?
How about we stop doing catch and release?
How about we stop giving them an “immigration registration number” and scheduling an immigration hearing months or years in the future that we know they’re not gonna show up for?
How about we stop being so concerned for their constitutional rights to American tax dollars, when they’re not American citizens, and they have no such rights?
How about we greet them at the border with a bottle of water, a baloney sammich, and a bus ride back to the Mexican desert?
How about we all make a few phone calls to our STATE legislators, AND our congress critters in DC, and DEMAND the DEFUNDING of illegal immigration???
And shouldn’t we be asking why NONE of the candidates for POTUS have addressed the issue of the continued FUNDING of illegal immigration out of the pockets of the American taxpayer?

Rant off.

There was a 4.75% increase in money sent from abroad to Mexico, most of which comes from the U.S., to total $24.8 billion US dollars last year, up from $23.6 billion in 2014, said the Bank of México.

But if President Trump rounds up and deports all those millions of illegals like he promised then there would be virtually no money going back to Mexico and nothing to tax.

Wow, they got a 4.75% increase, but Social Security gets another year of 0% no increase. Unbelievable isn’t it.

The unbelievable part is how you managed to make a connection between the two.

This might be news to you, (it shouldn't be) but legal Mexicans here in the USA send 100's of millions of dollars back home to support their extended families...

So you are going to penalize those who followed the law and are here legally? Citizen and non-citizen alike?

Please, he isn't my man in any way, shape, or form. I think his claim that he'll make Mexico pay for the wall is only one of his earliest crazy claims he has no idea of how to accomplish. I'm not arguing that the border needs to be sealed and something done about the illegals here. But stupid promises aren't the way to do it. If it's done then it'll be because we pay for it.

In respect for the Pope’s Christian salvation, America should blow up that wall and drop off our illegals. The Pope has a big, big house.

To a man who is intimately involved in the building process, do you honestly believe he knows nothing of foundations and geotech?

I wonder if state and/or federal easements exist there nonetheless?
*********************
AFAIK, the lands along the Rio Grande in Texas is the private property of the ranchers and farmers... other than that within the Big Bend National Park.

The property owners have access to the river for their livestock and crops. It would cost the gov’t. tons of money to both buy ROW land and provide access to the water.

There already exists a 60’ wide easement along the southern border the Feds own—it was put there by Teddy Roosevelt in 1907.
*******************************
That’s the first time I’ve heard of that (not saying it’s wrong). Here in Texas I’ve seen lots of local TV coverage over the years of the ranchers/farmers walking their land along the river and talking with the TV crews. They were close to 100% against giving up or selling their land to the gov’t.

I would think the government could snatch the land anyway in the interest of national security. Probably how roosevelt did it.
