....Forty-six percent of Republican primary voters say they have now made up their minds about whom to vote for, up from 35 percent last month. But Trump's supporters are surer about their choice: Two-thirds of Trump voters now say they have made up their minds. Among those supporting other candidates, the race is more fluid; two-thirds of them may still change their minds.
Trump's support cuts across nearly every demographic group in the Republican electorate. He holds a double digit lead among Republicans and independents, men and women, white evangelicals, and Americans of all income levels. He leads among Republican voters of all age and education levels, but does particularly well among voters without college degrees.
Trump also holds a double digit lead among moderates and those who describe themselves as somewhat conservative, and has a five point lead over Ted Cruz among very conservative Republican voters.
Does this mean Team Cruz lied again yesterday with NBC?
But but but HOW can THIS be? Why our good and honest friend Rupert just told us Trump was falling and just barely ahead of Saint Ted.
“...[Trump] has a five point lead over Ted Cruz among very conservative Republican voters.”
Now, we know that that cannot be true because none other than Rush Limbaugh says that conservatives don’t support Trump.
Trump may very well win the primary.
It will be the very first time I vote Democrat. Yep, the lesser of 2 liberals.
Wow, you’re going to vote Hillary or Bernie over Trump? You must have an extra chromosome. Who let you on a computer?
Look at how the poll was conducted. 2007 adults. Only 1641 are registered voters and of them only 581 are likely to vote in a Republican primary. The poll was conducted February. 12 through 16, so half of it was before Trumps horrible debate meltdown.
What this poll, shows us is that 35% of the adults they called really liked “Celebrity Apprentice.”
Another sore loser...
yep, sore loser, Retired 14 years ago at 45 and still loving life
Poll never mentions any drops after the 13th. There's also 5 or 6 other polls, post-debate, all saying the same thing too.
Cry. I feed on your tears.
Who cares? Your vote is your business. Waste it any way you choose.
Good luck enjoying your retirement with Sanders and Clinton. I’m sure the lowlifes that your retirement money will be redistributed to will enjoy it.
“The poll was conducted February. 12 through 16, so half of it was before Trumps horrible debate meltdown.”
1. Not half, 60%. The two days prior to the debate would not have overridden any negatives that occurred after he debate. There was no fluctuation to amount to anything from polls made prior to the debate.
2. “Meltdown” is a pejorative term used by people who do not like Trump. The average person is honest enough to know that Trump’s anger was justified. As a side note, Jeb! was just as angry, but people didn’t notice. As another side note, Cruz evaded answering some questions, and nobody noticed.
3. There is nothing wrong with being justifiably angered.
Sure, that why you so emotionally hysteric that you advocate voting for an self proclaimed socialist over any Republican candidate.
That will be pretty hard. They can’t take my land without a fight.
Oh that’s right your idol will grab it via eminent domain.
Ok, don’t like this poll?
How about Qunnipac which is likely voters polled and shows virtually the same result?
You’re right. Meltdown expresses my opinion, which does not belong in a post about how a poll was conducted.
I dislike Trump so much that it finds its way into pretty much all my posts. I should have left it at “Trump’s debate performance.”
Sorry!
It’s Cruz or lose for me.
Yep, if your idol wins. I’ll vote for the lesser of 2 liberals.
I live in Texas, your idol will never build a wall he LIES
