For much of his life, Bernie Sanders was (let’s just say it…) a bum(LOL! Yup.)

In an editorial at Investors Business Daily, we get a glimpse of one possible source of Bernie's unrelenting war on dollars: he's never really had many of them. Not that there's anything wrong with coming from modest beginnings… in fact, many voters find the idea of an American success story to be very appealing. But that's the problem when you look at Sanders' story a bit more closely: he never really achieved that success. As the IBD editorial describes it in the sub-header, Bernie is, "an angry radical and agitator who never accomplished much of anything."

A slob. If he were 50 years younger, he'd have been right in there with the occupiers crapping in the street in NYC. Maybe that's the appeal to the moronials. They can relate to an under achiever with no goals and no job prospects other than milking the tax payers. Feel the bern?

Looks like hotair screwed up their transition to FB for comments. There are no comments on any recent articles, OR no one is going there anymore (i.e. me)

But let’s let him run the country!

Because socialism is so nice! only sweet and innocent and brilliant people will be running the government, with our best interests at heart

Not an impure thought among them, and they’ll get those evil rich people.

Sure explains why young underemployed college grads identify with him. His desire to reap revenge on capitalism is theirs, and it is very personal.

I think I read that his personal net worth is on the order of $300K.
That sounds like a fair amount until you consider it includes the value of his home - if he owns one...

Not much to show for a lifetime of work - oh, wait a minute: he’s never actually worked, has he?

I lasted a month on fb until I found girls I used to date were now grandmothers. My memories will have to suffice.

It will come in handy when we're waiting in two-block long lines for bread and toilet paper.

I know someone who married her husband at age 19. They were both over 60 when his high-school sweetheart looked him up on Facebook and re-connected. She then moved ACROSS THE COUNTRY to the town where they were living, and convinced him to ditch his wife of four decades to come shack-up with her.

One of many reasons why I am convinced FACEBOOK is EVIL!
