The two party system is like a horse race.

One makes a habit of stumbling and never crossing the finish line.

We’d better flood the phones tomorrow. That may be the only way to get them to do the right thing.

Sen. Thom Tillis, North Carolina Republican, voiced caution about blocking any Obama nominee automatically.

“I think we fall into the trap if [we] just simply say, sight unseen, we fall into the trap of being obstructionists,” Mr. Tillis said on Tyler Cralle’s radio show.

WHAT A WORM.

..I think I have a responsibility to perform, and I can’t worry about the election...

What is with the GOPe. It is some kind of a mental problem. One would think that they might be getting the message. Thus, the rise of Donald Trump.

if that sorry spineless bunch of wimps allows a liberal to sit on the bench before the election, their names will be known by the vote and I hope and pray that even a dead dog gets elected before any of them are re-elected...

I've got to do my job as a senator, whatever it is.

If your "job" is destroying the Republican Party, I guess you gotta do what you gotta do.

An obama nominee will not be tolerated . Trump would be swept in in a landslide and the Gope would get politically slaughtered for years

No, they have to appear reasonable.

There’s no danger to them as Obama can’t find a nominee that would put R Senators who are up for re-election in a jam.

They would not dare retreat. They are just playing it smart and say they will consider so they wontt look obstructionist and unreasonable to some people. But, I don’t think they have any intention of letting Obama nominate another Justice. Then again if the Democrats offer some tax cuts to the boys at the Chamber of Commerce maybe they could stab us in the back. I guess that could happen, now couldn’t it?

They call it the stupid party for a reason. They confirm the Kenyan nominee and buh-bye whigs, hello CW2.

Come on now. Seriously. Confirmation is only a click away. Maybe that’s why people are responding to Trump. Maybe, just maybe, he’ll keep his word. Or not. Somebody gave the pubbies control of the house and senate with the promise that they would straighten things out and keep the lyin’ king in check. MASSIVE FAIL!

The GOP has already lost the Senate as a result of crapping on the people who handed them the majority in 2014.

By caving to Obama on this, they will likely lose the House as well as the Presidential election as people will walk away from the Republican Party in droves.
