I was too young to pay attention to music in those days but enjoy it a lot nowadays. Nostalgia plays a large part, I guess. Life was simpler back then.

Nifty! So many classic things came out in the 1950s, and you wouldn’t change a thing about them. You belong in the decade of Elvis, Eisenhower, and the birth of television.

Yeah, it must be tough for the younger people these days. I used to think it would be nice to be young again but when I look around now I think, “Naaah.”
There’s so much kids miss out on today, and they’ll never even know it.

Indeed. None of them look happy. And nearly all the girls I work with who are under 26 have had a baby without the benefit of a husband. They are loaded with responsibilities when they should be enjoying life.

They’re all dead broke and are drudging their way through school AND work...no wonder that they listen to The Bern! LOL!
