Oh; I've none of my own to put forward. I was merely trying to point out how ABSOLUTE statements tend to make me a bit, shall we say, argumentive.
Not so much about the CONTENT of the statement; but the structure of it.
I think we are pretty much in agreement here over the lack of visibility of the 7,000 held in reserve.
Romans 11:2-4
Know you not what the scripture saith of Elias; how he calleth on God against Israel?
3 Lord, they have slain thy prophets, they have dug down thy altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.
4 But what saith the divine answer to him? I have left me seven thousand men, that have not bowed their knees to Baal.

Unless there is a quick transformation in America back to God, or if no transformation is necessary because the majority are believers and rise up and make their voices heard loud and clear, he may not give us access to those in reserve.
We have become a corrupt and immoral nation who has clearly turned it's back to God, so why should we expect his help as a nation? Each person must now make their own decision for their own salvation. I hold little hope that God is with us as a nation.
