As in past tense. When Trump did sound like (and was in fact) a liberal democrat.

These guys need to watch their asses when they talk about Trump. If he does go third party they have nobody but themselves to blame. He’s the defacto leader of the party, the party is a changin’ and they best embrace it and keep things civil, or else.
If Dick Cheney thinks Trump sounds like a liberal Democrat, he doesn’t get out much these days.
I’ll still support Trump, but sometimes, he does sound very much like a liberal democrat. The guy ain’t perfect.

Cheney’s drivel is irrelevant. He had his chance and blew it.
On some issues, he does take a more moderate position.
However, on the ones I care most about, he’s more than conservative enough for me, per my tagline.
Again, dusting off a bunch of these Bush administration guys to come out and bash Trump is just more GOPe desperation. If anything, the more they hate Trump, the more committed I am to voting for him. All of these career politicians have spent decades destroying the middle class with their policies. They’re afraid Trump is going to throw a wrench in their gravy train. Screw them.

He is correct. Trumps sounds like a liberal because he is one. Trump’s popularity on FR is a mystery to me.

I still very much admire Dick Cheney *ducks*. His response was measured and accurate. He also underscored the real problem, 0bama abandonment in Iraq. And he said he’d vote for the R candidate the people choose. Nice to hear from an adult.
