Donald Trump has invented a new way to win
New York Post ^ | 2/15/16 | Mark Cunningham

The other GOP candidates are finally starting to fight on Donald Trump’s terms, to judge by the slugfest that was Saturday night’s debate. But it speaks volumes — whole encyclopedias — about the ignorance of our political and media elites that they’re only now realizing that much of what Trump’s been doing is just busting balls.

It’s a blue-collar ritual, with clear rules — overtly insulting, sure, but with infinite subtleties. It can be a test of manliness, a sign of respect, a way of bonding and much more.

Rule No. 1: You can wince, but don’t squeal.

Rule No. 2: Bust right back, if you can.

Not knowing how to play is no excuse. And not getting it shows you have no idea how a huge swath of America lives — the Americans whom Trump has made his base.

From the start, Trump targeted the (mostly) white working class, which happens to be 40 percent of the country. And he’s done it not just with issues, but with how he talks — the ball-busting, the “bragging,” the over-the-top promises.

Tough to argue, given polling. Not sure how well "ball-busting" goes with the Resolute desk however.

Liberals have been “winning” the same way Trump is “winning” for years: pandering to the lowest common intellectual denominator.

I bet all the commie-libs in SC are voting Trump. It’s an open primary. Great strategy. He will reward the traitors because he knows that his fan-boys will support him no matter what.

Most politicians are ill equipped to deal with him because saying what they actually think is the most foreign thing from the minds. Their whole upbringing, careers and political lives have been built around political expediency, deceit, duplicity and lying to constituents about how they voted is actually good for them, the sheep.

There's a time and place for every kind of language. The language I heard and used on the gun line isn't the same stuff I later heard and used in a courtroom.

Some people get that, and some don't.

That would be evidence that the majority of voters are leftist who agree.

Winning a primary with 35% isn’t winning. It’s just losing with the highest result.

Not endorsing anything here but -
How smart is it to lose?
If it works, is it stupid?

Unfortunately we’ve become a nation of majority, low caliber, dumb ash holes. No president can fix it__ only stem the tide or make it far worse like the last 8 years.

The common everyday American lives paycheck to paycheck. They have more credit card debt than they can pay off in 2 years. They have less than $500 in the bank. A large car repair bill would likely cause them to miss a house payment. Yep... these are the trump supporters.

The same people who watch his reality show or Jerry Springer. He has their vote sewed up.

And that's the fallacy in the design of our country. We let idiots vote.

It’d be great if DT was faking his feinting Leftist to vacuum up more Xover RATS, but the evidence is amassing that he believes his own BS as much as his cult does.

There is nothing wrong with using your enemies’ methods against them. It's a common practice in war. How many Freepers complain that we tie our soldiers arms behind their back when they fight terrorists but then say we should tire our arms around our back when we fight domestic political terrorists? Are we to sit in the corner as proud victims, doing nothing and suffering abuse while they destroy our culture, steal our country, our future, and our children?

Republicans leadership is to be despised because they are weak and because they are weak they sell themselves cheap. Republicans party bosses hate patriots for the same reason cowards hate and demean brave men; self-loathing.

what is the status of our immigration question that has gone before Scotus now that Scalia is dead?

If Scotus ties, then the appeals court ruling stands. Is that how you understand it?

Poor sad sacks, must put Trump, our next President, down. You would think that the masses of people would understand Trump is destroying the ruling elite class of criminals that have destroyed much of America.

Trump for President.
