Donald Trump is threatening a third party run â again. So what else is new?
At a town hall meeting in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, Trump objected to being booed at the GOP debate in Greenville on Saturday night after having accused former President George W. Bush of lying about WMDs in Iraq as well as blaming him for the attacks of September 11, 2001.
Trump ranted, âThe RNC better get its act together because, you know, I signed a pledge. The pledge isnât being honored by the RNC. I signed a pledge, but itâs a double-edged pledge. As far as Iâm concerned, theyâre in default on their pledge.â
Of course, Trump was referring to the pledge he signed last September in which he promised not to launch a third party bid for the White House and support the GOP nominee if he did not win the nomination. Trump signed the pledge after drawing jeers at the first GOP debate in August when he said he would not rule out a third party run. To be precise the pledge reads:

Aaron can go pound sand.
I would run 3rd Party also! When the Front Runner is treated like shit! It’s time to leave!
He gave them every chance in HELL to do the right thing and let the election be the election.
But Renice is EVIL! GO TRUMP!
The RNC has been using Trumps name for fund raising purposes. He had to warn them off just the other day. A third party run would certainly throw that out the door.
Thank you! A much needed comment by a true DJT supporter giving voice to the 3rd party run by the magnificent hero of the people who will allow the Democrat Party to win POTUS in a earthshaking landslide ... thanks once again.
Sincerely,
Bernie
I think the pledge that is at risk is the first one. Not that Trump is threatening to break the literal terms of it, but a lawsuit against Cruz or the RNC (for certifying Cruz in states where the political party submits the candidate certifications of eligibility, e.g., South Carolina) has a similar quality of not "endorsing the 2016 Republican presidential nominee regardless of who it is."
The issue is that the RNC stacked the audience with pro-Marco and pro-Jeb insiders who booed Trump and your guy, Cruz, at nearly every opportunity. The RNC also agreed for the debate to be hosted by a moderator who had written for Salon that Obama should go for the throats of Republicans.
When a party seeks to take down its frontrunner (Trump) and marginalize its most conservative candidate (Cruz), I’d say that it was appropriate for Trump to fire a shot across the bow.
He should leave. Some people refuse to bow down to him. This is getting ugly. Some of them are even quoting him and revealing his biography. It’s unheard of in presidential politics. My word why should the Donald have this type of hateful revealing of his past and his donations.
HA HA HA.... Trumpets are now building graphics using democratic Push Polls (PPP). It doesn’t get any better than this.
It’s funny that Trump is the one acting like a little pussy then.
Pound sand you GOPe troll.
Aaron - how about your crowd stops acting like total rumpswabs ? The GOPe is falling apart before their own eyes - no one wants what they’re selling except the people in the same room telling each other how morally and intellectually superior they are.
Trump has rejected Reagan’s commandment about criticizing fellow Republicans. Trump the usurper has taken advantage of the the frustration of many Americans and hijacked the Republican primary process. Serious republicans like Kasich, Cruz, and Rubio cannot get breathing room. When it’s all over Trump will probably go 3rd party and our next President Hillary Clinton can continue to eviscerate the Republic.
Trump and his supporters are pretty thin-skinned. We have a poor little thin-skinned rich kid in the Pennsylvania state house. We don’t need one in the White House.
Fight Back
Much as it pays to emphasize the positive, there are times when the only choice is confrontation. In most cases I’m very easy to get along with. I’m very good to people who are good to me. But when people treat me badly or unfairly or try to take advantage of me, my general attitude, all my life, has been to fight back very hard. The risk is that you’ll make a bad situation worse, and I certainly don’t recommend this approach to everyone. But my experience is that if you’re fighting for something you believe in— even if it means alienating some people along the way— things usually work out for the best in the end.
When the city unfairly denied me, on Trump Tower, the standard tax break every developer had been getting, I fought them in six different courts. It cost me a lot of money, I was considered highly likely to lose, and people told me it was a no-win situation politically. I would have considered it worth the effort regardless of the outcome. In this case, I won— which made it even better.
When Holiday Inns, once my partners at the Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, ran a casino that consistently performed among the bottom 50 percent of casinos in town, I fought them very hard and they finally sold out their share to me. Then I began to think about trying to take over the Holiday Inns company altogether.
Even if I never went on the offensive, there are a lot of people gunning for me now. One of the problems when you become successful is that jealousy and envy inevitably follow. There are people— I categorize them as life’s losers— who get their sense of accomplishment and achievement from trying to stop others. As far as I’m concerned, if they had any real ability they wouldn’t be fighting me, they’d be doing something constructive themselves.

This is one of Donald's great skills in business. I can hardly wait for President Trump to get in office and sue the crap out of Putin for being in Syria.
Name calling = zero credibility
Aaron go back and listen again.
