But that doesn't change the question I posed. When Trump was way ahead of Cruz, he said that he had legal experts look at it and everything was OK. Now that Cruz has caught up, Trump says that his legal experts say that Cruz is not a NBC. Was Trump lying then or is he lying now?

I think Trump saw what all of us did - his Canadian birth certificate - that’s all he has shown. There are other issues which haven’t been clarified. Did his mother give up her U.S. citizenship to become a Canadian? If so, then she wasn’t legally allowed to give him U.S. citizenship. Too many unanswered questions. Trump never had his lawyers look into it previously, he was accepting the word of other legal experts that he did not know.
