GOP frontrunner Donald Trump is going after Sen. Ted Cruz, calling the Texan "an absolute disgusting liar" during his town hall in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina on Monday afternoon.
"He's taken so much money from so many different people," Trump alleged of Cruz, saying he's "totally controlled" by special interests and lobbyists. "Bush, the same thing," Trump said, referencing former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and then Sen. Marco Rubio, "Rubio, the same thing."
"They will be totally controlled," Trump declared.
"Ted Cruz is the most dishonest guy I think I've ever met in politics," Trump said, responding to recent attacks by Cruz that Trump is pro-choice, while Trump vows he is pro-life.

So says Rush... We were told on the eve of the NH election by his advisers that Cruz could win based on their inside information. How did that turn out?
If his behavior Saturday night didn't convince people that the man is totally unhinged and if they are indeed serious, they would quietly step back from him.
Those that don't become his brownshirts, goosestepping to their leader's screams over a Wagner opera!

Truly. Because of the boorishness that goes with being a Trump supporter, I am starting to think more and more like they are the World Wrestling Foundation party. Or the Reality TV Party. People willing to believe anything attached to a big name celebrity, to the biggest gorilla in the room, to the guy with the biggest, meanest mouth.
In the 12 or more years I’ve been on FR, and probably a couple years of lurking before that, I have never seen so many people take complete leave of their rational faculties and become so rabidly attached to a person or cause to the point, they will defend Trump no matter how awful he is (as a person or as a conservative) and they will attack his opponents with a viciousness that is comparable to our feelings about Obama, Harry Reid, Mooshelle, VJ, Nancy Pelousy, Hillary or Bill, Schumer etals.
The few who are willing to discuss things rationally can only say that they are so disgusted with anyone associated with party politics or Washington is irretrievably defective and they just know one thing: Trump will be different, he will challenge the status quo. But ask them to explain how they know which direction he will move in from the status quo and things get fuzzy.

Cruzers here won't even READ much less dig a bit. IF one looks at the donors to Cruz's superpacs, one doesn't even have to know about all the Heidi and Ted Globalist/open border owners (Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, the Texas oil industry, etc.)
Cruzers are oblivious to the facts, like Heidi wrote the "book" on "free trade" (i.e., TPP); the banks who fleeced taxpayers for $700 billion in 2008 are her EMPLOYERS---she was made Managing Director of Goldman Sachs 9 days after Ted became senator. It boggles my mind that FR people are ok with this. Their country sold down the river by the Bill and Hillary of the 21st Century---Ted and Heidi are the perfect globalists. Then FR people TRASH the patriot who stands up for our NATION.

Lodi, you are willing to vote for leftism. That you refuse to admit it is beside the point. You call yourself a "conservative" because you are SELF DECEIVING. You are also contemptible, IMO.
Marron, there will be no "reuniting" with the likes of Lodi. There will only be incidences of the likes of Lodi fooling conservatives again .. and again ... and again ... and again, every time a leftist "conservative" steps up to face a true conservative and the likes of Lodi say, "Hey, let's try this guy!" instead of saying, "He belongs in the other party, ignore him."

Understanding that some fellow patriots will betray anything -- themselves and their liberty -- in order to cling to a happy self-deception and that when it happens the only thing to do is to move on and leave them where they do the least harm, is the living reality of a mature adult who respects truth and life.
