Donald Trump: Ted Cruz An ‘Unstable Person,’ ‘Totally Controlled’ by Special Interests
Breitbart ^ | 2/15/2016 | Alex Swoyer

GOP frontrunner Donald Trump is going after Sen. Ted Cruz, calling the Texan "an absolute disgusting liar" during his town hall in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina on Monday afternoon.

"He's taken so much money from so many different people," Trump alleged of Cruz, saying he's "totally controlled" by special interests and lobbyists. "Bush, the same thing," Trump said, referencing former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and then Sen. Marco Rubio, "Rubio, the same thing."

"They will be totally controlled," Trump declared.

"Ted Cruz is the most dishonest guy I think I've ever met in politics," Trump said, responding to recent attacks by Cruz that Trump is pro-choice, while Trump vows he is pro-life.

Corker Bill counts as staunch conservative special interests to you?
You got to be ****in' kidding me.

The Corker Bill was approved 98-1 (Cotton - Ark), and you see it as a Cruz issue?

You got to be ****in' kidding me.

I don’t have to listen Lying-in-Chief Cruz. That man is a liar. I can’t believe anyone with little shame can listen to him and promote him. Your Pastor Cruz is in to make money, not to take you to promise land.

What about Trump funding liberals? What about Trump praising them? Trump is the pro-abortion liberal candidate.

Either file your suit against Cruz’s eligibility or shut up about it, Trump. One or the other. Enough of this “I’m going to file the suit pretty soon. Maybe.”

Not worse than Cruz who stole votes from Black man. What a shame is Cruz as a human. Cruz actual did the act. Is lying and cheating is permitted in religion and no consequence?

Say all the negatives you want about Trump; he is the MOST qualified to lead our country out of the financial mess we are in and create a business atmosphere that will provide jobs for our legal citizens. The economy is our number 1 priority and of all the candidates only TRUMP get get us where we need to go. The only area Cruz can help is in the social area of conservatism - gay, abortion, marriage, etc.

Why would he consider the “most dishonest guy” he’s ever met in politics for his VP???

Someone’s certainly being dishonest here, but it doesn’t look like Cruz.

This is a matter of simple logic.

9/11 happened when Bush was president. On 9/11, we were unsafe. So Bush did not keep us safe.

Logically, whether or to what extent Bush could have kept us safe is an entirely different question.

Jeb! made the statement: “My brother kept us safe.” That is simply false.

Jeb! did not say “My brother kept us safe after 9/11”. He did not say “it is unreasonable to have expected my brother to have kept us safe on 9/11”.

He said his brother kept us safe, when in fact his brother did not keep us safe.

Whether Bush could have kept us safe is not clear either way, but there is evidence that Bush did not pay close enough attention to do things which might have kept us safe,

With respect to the Bush presidency generally, it is immaterial whether the left criticized him unfairly and unjustly. They did.

What counts is that the Bush presidency was a disaster in many ways, especially including Bush’s response to 9/11 where he announced unconditional surrender by declaring the mohammaden ideology a religion of peace, and setting in stone the policy of appeasing that doctrine of hate and barbarity.

His nomination of Harriet Miers was as deep an insult and act of contempt as I could have imagined from any president.

His federalization of education was the same leftist baloney which has turned us into an increasingly uneducated country.

The list goes on.

People loved and defended Nixon because he was unfairly and unjustly attacked by the left. The same phenomenon happened with Bush.

And honesty? The phrase “compassionate conservative,” in addition to being deeply insulting, was a lie as far as I was concerned. It was a lie because Bush was no conservative, he was an establishment phony, and Bush was just tricking the rubes.

Cruz played a role briefly before the campaign as “Mr. Smith Goes To Washington” and then it was back to being a Washington insider playing an outsider.
Trump’s right: Cruz is part of the DC problem. He’ll say anything, he’s not all there and more importantly, he’s pwned by special interests.

Elephants have long memories. After it’s all over, “conservative” Trump supporters are going to have a very, very long row to hoe before they regain the trust, respect, or confidence of the conservatives whom they had fooled for YEARS — up until only a few months ago.

You are very badly mistaken if you think the remedy for such profound betrayal of moral principle is a simple reuniting of people registered in the same political party that fails to respect the difference between left and right.

Short memory? You mean like Cruz supporters forgetting Ted Cruz dishonestly campaigned with Amnesty Ryan to enable Obama’s secret trade agenda? That kind of memory lapse?

The choice in 2016 is stopping the invasion (R) or having more invasion (D). Feel free not to vote to stop the invasion but don’t bother calling yourself a conservative if you don’t vote.

Cruz is the insider pretending to be the outsider. Politicians lie. It is part of the job description. Cruz lied when he said he never favored legalization, i.e., amnesty.
