GOP frontrunner Donald Trump is going after Sen. Ted Cruz, calling the Texan "an absolute disgusting liar" during his town hall in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina on Monday afternoon.
"He's taken so much money from so many different people," Trump alleged of Cruz, saying he's "totally controlled" by special interests and lobbyists. "Bush, the same thing," Trump said, referencing former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and then Sen. Marco Rubio, "Rubio, the same thing."
"They will be totally controlled," Trump declared.
"Ted Cruz is the most dishonest guy I think I've ever met in politics," Trump said, responding to recent attacks by Cruz that Trump is pro-choice, while Trump vows he is pro-life.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news for you but Trump is the one that helped get all the democrats elected that screwed up the country in the first place.
Now he’s promising to make deals with these same democrats and you think that is going to fix the country?
Cruz is NOT qualified. I hate to break it to you but Cruz will never be POTUS. This is because the DNC along with the DNC will shop a federal judge to disqualify Cruz.
That way the GOPe, via the delegates at the Republican convention, can insert Jeb or Rubio.
It’s accurate: Cruz’s most recent lie is when he stated that he “did not nominate Roberts, would not nominate Roberts” when accused of supporting Roberts. Cruz had a hard on so bad for Roberts he was pushing him badly even before he got into the senate, writing that Roberts was the “best ever” litigator, “second to none,” a “true conservative” “like the President who nominated him.”
There are many other lies told by the Cruz campaign. Another is the immigration issue. Cruz conflates the pathway to citizenship with legalization, so that he can claim he was always against legalization. He uses Sessions to prove this conflation, after he has already confused the issue. But Sessions, Mike Lee, not even Rush Limbaugh, were opposing legalization during the Gang of Eight fight either. Hush Bimbo himself declared on his radio program that deportation was unrealistic, and he ridiculed callers as “seminar callers” when they tried to sing a different tune.
Cruz is offering an anachronism, claiming he opposed “amnesty,” when, in fact, he called legalization part of “common sense immigration reform.” He supported this position even after the gang of eight fight was over. And for 9 straight months during this campaign cycle, Cruz refused to remove legalization of illegals off the table when directly asked by Chuck Todd, Megyn Kelly and others.
But Cruz’s supporters, despite all this history, insist that Cruz is white as snow, even though he lies constantly.
The Establishment Republicans didn't need any help from Trump in that area, they did a fine job of that all by themselves.

Cruz 1326: Combines Cruz 1324 and Cruz 1325. Implements Green Card reform to streamline and expand legal immigration and increases high-skilled temporary worker visas five fold.

Elephants have long memories. After it's all over, "conservative" Trump supporters are going to have a very, very long row to hoe before they regain the trust, respect, or confidence of the conservatives whom they had fooled for YEARS -- up until only a few months ago.
You are very badly mistaken if you think the remedy for such profound betrayal of moral principle is a simple reuniting of people registered in the same political party that fails to respect the difference between left and right.

Good point. His inner liberal schweinhund comes out when people are seeing through him. He must be seeing some really bad polls. The press wants him in the race to attack conservatives from the left, but we’ll see if he doesn’t break down and cry soon. He’s really just a spoiled little rich kid who has had an easy life and cannot deal with tough times.
