Cruz's new Trump attack: He'd ruin the Supreme Court [Hail Mary Desperation by Cruz]
Washington Examiner ^ | 2/15/2016 | Paige Winfield Cunningham

Under a Trump presidency, Americans would lose their gun rights and religious liberty and see abortion rights dramatically expanded, Cruz said Monday morning on Fox News.

Trump’s judges would put Kelo on the federal level so the state law couldn’t stop it.

No different than what was done with homo hook up. Went from state issue to federal issue.

Of course it is over for Cruz, after South Carolina. Those CLE donors of his are not going to fund a 15 point loss in the Cruz “firewall” South, infinitum.

Cruz will be lucky to get TEXAS on Super Tuesday.

Chuz came right out of the box in 2013 denouncing the Republican Establishment in the Senate. More than anyone else he deserves credit for the more conservative Congress that emerged in 2014. He, Lee, Paul and Rubio have been the young guns trying to get Congress to ad the right thing. The House did get ride of Boehner, but McConnell still has a majority in the Senate. As for Trump. he has seized upon the frustration of the country and persuaded a lot of people that HE will keep his promises to act. But given what he said Saturday, I think he is at heart to the left of every member of the Republican Party in the Senate.

>>Cruz has done his duty to fight Obama’s liberal agenda 110%. Anything else you can say is a total lie.

No, it’s not a lie. He failed to lead. If you fight and lose with 100% consistency, then you need to learn how to fight. Read some Sun Tzu for crying out loud! Is that your standard for quality? A guy who “tries” and fails? Can I be a contractor for your next home repair project? I’d love to get some of that easy money!

Donald Trump seems to be all over the place regarding abortion. Recently, he said, “Planned Parenthood does wonderful things, but not when it comes to abortion.” That’s sort of like saying “I’ve got a wonderful painting from John Wayne Gacy; he’s really a great artist when he’s not busy killing people.”

I don’t believe Donald Trump “understands” abortion.

Trump’s support of Kelo is all you need to know to know he wouldn’t appoint strict constitutionalist to the courts.

I will believe Trump will be the nominee once he starts winning primaries with 50% or more of the vote.

What may well happen is that the rest of the Republican electorate will coalesce around the candidate that opposes Trump.

We will all have a better sense of this once a couple more candidates drop out, and we see who there supporters vote for.

When is the next debate, and who is going to be excluded from the debate stage? That seems to be a big factor in candidates dropping out.

That is not true. I was impressed with him in the Senate when I clearly didn’t know much about him. I woke up. Apparently you are still sleeping.

Well, you want to put it that way, yes. I see no difference between Trump and Mitch McConnell, except style.

Sorry you didn't see the same debate I did. I voted for Bush twice. But the fact is: He should have taken security efforts against terror earlier after being in office 9 months. He did nothing in 8 years to build a wall and stop illegals. He did nothing to limit government. He knew the financial bubble was building and did nothing about it, while actually encouraging the liar loans. After Iraq he allow a corrupt government to form. The prescription drug plan that passed pays top dollar for prescriptions - Bush backed it.

I could go on and on. Was Bush better than those he ran against, sure. But was he really a good President? No.

I’ve been denouncing them since the 1990s. And I’m a Christian. So that makes me just as qualified as Cruz to be your president.

Trump, Cruz, Bush and Rubio (and probably Kasich) will all be in the race through super Tuesday. You are fantasizing to imagine otherwise.

Some of them may not be in it much longer after super Tuesday, though.

Trump published his position paper on the 2d amendment last summer. Its VERY explicit.

2 of Trumps sons did a campaign rally appearance at a gun range!
Havent seen any other politician do that!

One freshman senator is not going to lead the Senate. He did provide leadership for many House members.
