Trump Says He'd Consider Bill Pryor for SCOTUS, AG Who Prosecuted 'Ten Commandments' Judge
Christian News Network ^ | 2-14-16 | Heather Clark

Excerpt: Bill Pryor, the former attorney general of Alabama, prosecuted Roy Moore in 2003 over his refusal to remove a Ten Commandments monument from the rotunda of the Alabama Supreme Court. Pryor's comments to Moore during his trial focused more on Moore's refusal to stop acknowledging God as chief justice.

"[Y]our understanding is that the federal court ordered that you could not acknowledge God; isn't that right?" Pryor asked. "And if you resume your duties as chief justice after this proceeding, you will continue to acknowledge God as you have testified that you would today?"

"That's right," Moore replied.

I actually looked up this judge’s rulings, and he has a fair and balanced record. Perhaps people should look into it rather than jumping on one issue. Sigh, I know that’s asking too much for the Cruz loves John Robert’s crowd.

A judge doesn’t “prosecute” anyone. He hears a case from a plaintiff and a defendant. No wonder this country is in such sad shape - Americans are truly dumb arses.

And maybe Cruz should keep his lying mouth shut too. Every day it’s a new lie from the Canadian.

It's a novel approach: my candidate is best because he doesn't know what he's talking about!

LOL! Are these Trumpsters just in too deep now to admit they backed a lame horse? Hopefully they wise up in the voting booth even if they're too embarrassed to admit in public that Trump is dangerously unconservative.

Roberts did NOT vote for same-sex marriage. More Trump lies? Oh, but we’re supposed to excuse you because you didn’t know WTF you were talking about, right?

And, so did our conservative Congress allow funding for PP. What’s the problem?

Moore would be a kick-ass pick. A little old though if you’re looking for longevity.

Who ever claimed Congress was conservative? The Tea Party and Cruz have been saying the complete opposite for years.

Trump has a lot of anti-Christian values. He’s for abortion, or was until recently when it wasn’t expedient. He’s pro-wife-shucking, and may trade this one in too if he feels like it. So I wouldn’t be too surprised if he’s anti 10 Commandments.

So he can put any monument in our courts just as long as he pays for them?

Does this mean that Catholics, Baptists, Lutherans, Church of Christ, etc., can pick out their monuments if they get elected?

Bill Pryor was not to blame for this. The Southern Poverty Law Center is the main villain here. Also, even though Judge Moore’s intentions were pure, his methods were faulty. It put Pryor in an awkward position and he had no choice but to prosecute, even though he personally didn’t want to.

Pryor is also an absolute radical pro-lifer who says roe v wade is an abomination.

And he said the law tied his hands about Roy Moore.

We’d need a lawyer to figure it out, but I guarantee you right now that I’d rather have Pryor than Loretta Lynch.
