Excerpt: Bill Pryor, the former attorney general of Alabama, prosecuted Roy Moore in 2003 over his refusal to remove a Ten Commandments monument from the rotunda of the Alabama Supreme Court. Pryor's comments to Moore during his trial focused more on Moore's refusal to stop acknowledging God as chief justice.
"[Y]our understanding is that the federal court ordered that you could not acknowledge God; isn't that right?" Pryor asked. "And if you resume your duties as chief justice after this proceeding, you will continue to acknowledge God as you have testified that you would today?"
"That's right," Moore replied.

I don't post often, so excerpted this article because I don't know how much was allowed, more at link. I did try to take out the funky fonts.
Trump’s not a politician, doesn’t know enough to not rattle off names when he hasn’t really looked into it yet.
So let’s all pile on Trump for this name even though Trump ended those comments saying he’d have to look at all candidates before he’d decide.
I doubt Trump even remembered something from 2003. What has he done since? He probably is a great judge. Look I know you guys are thinking 2003 is cool because Bush is running and hasn’t been in office since 2002. But it is 2016 now guys.
So if a Judge insisted on keeping a monument of the Koran, and had been ordered to remove it by the Feds, would you, LowOil, have posted this?
“So letâs all pile on Trump for this name even though Trump ended those comments saying heâd have to look at all candidates before heâd decide”
He said his sister would make a good SCOTUS and she’s a liberal kook!
“...Trump ended those comments saying heâd have to look at all candidates before heâd decide. ...”
Kenny,
Thanks for pointing that out!
And that’s why I don’t like what passes for journalism these days; something always gets left off by them.
Info that changes the whole story.
Don’t believe these religious lunatics, research the Judge yourself.
“Trumpâs not a politician, doesnât know enough to not rattle off names when he hasnât really looked into it yet.”
Nothing new for Trump. He never knows when to shut his yap. I doubt he’ll learn how to do so this late in his life.
There is some strange theory that those who are part of the judicial system should follow the law.
And that if they do not agree with the law, should attempt to change it by legislation and not by rebellion.
Give us a source for that.
So, maybe he should keep his mouth shut
Roy Moore Cross-examined for acknowledging God... by Bill Pryor (Video link below)...

Roy Moore is a showman.
He would put a religious monument the size of Texas in the court if he could get funding. He loves the attention.
All I remember off the top of my head about Bill Pryor is the RATS hated him!! He must be OK then!!
You really need to research this a little more. Because there’s more to it.
Islam is not a part of the Cultural History of this nation.
For argument’s sake, what if that Koran memorial was in Dearborn Michigan, personally, if it is local to the area, though I disagree with doing such, I’d think it would be constitutional.
He lacks that ability. He's almost 70 years old and he still hasn't learned that.
I have, met Judge Moore at several Tea Party events, my sister and brother were invited to eat lunch with him. They accepted, they were impressed with his knowledge on conservative issues. He is very approachable and will answer any questions you present him with.
