People keep saying this, but I doubt after being president, he would want to be a judge. (Yes, I know it happened once before, but that was a very different circumstance.)
Besides, Michelle doesn't like it in Washington, and isn't going to want to stay there forever.

Then he needs to hold off appointing a replacement for Scalia

If Zero really wanted to kill two birds with one stone, he could resign now, have Plugs appoint him to SCOTUS (recess or otherwise). Plugs becomes the incumbent President and shuts down both Bernie and the Butcheress of Benghazi’s candidacies.

“...he’s brilliant...” Walt Disney was brilliant. Thomas Edison and Nikola Tesla were brilliant. Obama invented “roof hits,” to get the last bit of pot smoke from the roof of a car. I’d put his judgement and his intellectual ability right up there with Snoop Dogg and O’l Dirty. So yeah, he will most likely be the next Justice.

Hillary buttering up the guy who can pardon her. What a surprise.

“I, Obama” wouldn’t be properly adored in that role.

A President Trump might need a grand gesture to demonstrate to the world that he is beholden to no one, including conservatives. Nominating Obama to the Supreme Court would be a possibility.

There are zero Constitutional rules to be a member of SCOTUS.
ANYONE can be a member so long as he/she is nominated and confirmed.
One need not even be a lawyer.
