LMAO..............that is a fact!
All 9 of them agreed about a dozen times that Obama was overstepping his authoritah
David Axelrod’s word is not worth spit.
I wouldn’t put much stock in anything an Obamanoid says. They all have credibility problems.
It’s a rather flattering article.
I’m shocked.
Bullsqueeze!
Scalia knew, probably better than anyone else, that the shift in balance-of-power on the USSC to liberals would mean the TOTAL DESTRUCTION OF OUR NATION.
I refuse to believe he’d EVER say such a thing.
If you read that whole article, and knowing Scalia went on hunting trips with that wacky left wing juror, it doesn’t sound impossible.
If you’re not gonna get conservative, at least get smart and sensible.
If true, why wouldn’t Axelrod have mentioned this years ago? Somehow I can’t see the likes of Axelrod wasting the opportunity to diminish the conservative character of Scalia. Personally I doubt that Scalia would make any such comments so as not have it look like he was trying to influence the nomination process. Surely, if he had, don’t you think the Dems would have used it against the man?
David should encourage 0bama to nominate another Justice just like Scalia.
So now we at least understand the Sotomayor: Scalia requested someone smart, so Obama named someone stupid.
“Scalia knew that Obama would never nominate a Conservative, so the best he could hope for was someone who was smart.”
AND someone he could reason with. The two who’ve gone up lately, Kagan and Sotomayor have surprised on a few (very few) things they’ve done. They’re liberals, but elections have consequences.
I’m not TOO sure I’d put credence on anything out of Axelrod, tho.
Pure BS
You really think it’s true??? BS
Don’t recall who, but someone else yesterday said that Scalia had expressed admiration for judges who exhibited what to his thinking was high intellect and that he had included Kagan as an example of someone in that class - he seemed to pride himself on being able to accommodate philosophical differences as long as they were derived from rigorous reasoning based on principal and formal legality.....
Axlerod should be put down like a rabit dog
Thanks for sharing it with us, though.
